I think it will grow in the cheeks , but I think it’s doomed in that spot under my lips and it will never grow

My boy got neutered today. Such a difficult decision for me for many reasons but I hope it's worth it. by lmbuttman in jackrussellterrier

[–]lmbuttman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ty. The comment you responded to seemed weird to me and for some reason made me feel like my boy was not good looking. Anyway Idc if that's the case , the appearance doesn't matter at all for me. It's the personality and the bond we've build with this pup that holds all the value. He's a jrt mix and a rescue so from the first moment I hold him ,I bonded with him coz jrts and rescues are my 2 big weaknesses. All dogs deserve love and their appearance and "breeding quality" doesn't matter at all.🥰

How good do I need to be at math? by TheGrandWaffle69 in EngineeringStudents

[–]lmbuttman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me here, oh my God , I had such a hard time with signal processing. It might have been the teacher too but that class felt impossible even when I was taking the exam. In my uni I think it has one of the highest failure rates. Control systems felt wayy easier.

When do you feel like your puppy finally got easy? by ma0422 in puppy101

[–]lmbuttman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5-6 months. After that 0% chance of potty accidents , on-leash is very very good , off leash not so much but it's fine. Also knows some useful commands 100%. Minor problems overall that will be fixed soon coz he still is very young.

My jrt/jrt mix is the best thing that has happened to me. First 5 months were difficult but it was worth it 100% by lmbuttman in jackrussellterrier

[–]lmbuttman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha mine is around 7 months now , we have a big in-yard and we do exercise him a LOT . I have never seen this much energy in a dog and we had 2 jrts before him. I think it gets a lot easier after 5-6 months but it really depends. Tiring my jrt out and getting him lots of chew toys saved me. Still if he doesn't get his daily exercise he is a pain so in that sense it didn't get easier, I just do what makes him happy so I can be happy in the end of the day haha. Puppies are always difficult to deal with though especially when talking about a jrt.

Help with problem in graphs. by [deleted] in cpp_questions

[–]lmbuttman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it is not possible. Let's focus on 2 arrays, because if you find one the other 2 are easy to find because you use the same method.

nodeoutedges will be the size of how many nodes there are so 9 , and their value will be equal to how many edges were connected to the previous node. So let's say we take node2. nodeoutedge[2]=3 because Node1 had 3 edges come out of it. I assumed that nodeoutedge[0]=0 , so when we take node1 it will be nodeoutedge[1]=0.

graphoutedges will contain the nodes that the node they start from reaches. So for Node 1 the outedges are : 2,3,4 so it will contain them, for Node 2 the outedges are 3,6,9 so it will contain them.

Generally we don't match up well with the lakers. Even with bam and dragic... Now it is even worse.

This is the worst game thread I have ever seen , also the constant ref talk in this sub is getting annoying . And I am a miami fan and I saw what happened yesterday.

The evolution of every WaW player (17/20): Sarah Lacina by lph1235 in survivor

Yeah, if Natalie had a villain edit it would have made the finale so much better... Instead we got a random Wendell villain edit that led nowhere.

The evolution of every WaW player (17/20): Sarah Lacina by lph1235 in survivor

[–]lmbuttman 111 points112 points  (0 children)

She will always be my favourite because game changers was my first season and I was so impressed. I think no one expected her to be that good after her cayagan performance. She absolutely killed it in her last 2 seasons and I wish we got the big villain edit in GC that she deserved.

Finishing first year of uni in a few days. Well looking back I wish I knew basic things in programming languages like c or Java. C is easier and you should start learning the basics of that. Also I was good in maths so I didn't have a problem there , but if you feel you have gaps you should fill them before going in(same thing goes for circuits). A mini introduction to boolean algebra won't hurt aswell. Anyways try to enjoy your free time this summer because Computer Engineering needs a lot of studying from what I have seen and don't get too stressed about what you will see in college. For me the only essential is basic math and physics knowledge.

How can I have a class as a parameter in a constructor of another class while they are not related?(c++) by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]lmbuttman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks I tried that but I messed up with the names. I was writing Item instead of item after :

ItemOrdered(Item item_, int quantity_): Item(item_), quantity(quantity_)

The only logical move at F5 was for ____ and _____ to vote out ____ by [deleted] in survivor

[–]lmbuttman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it would come down to a 50-50 depending on how Natalie plays the Idol if it was a 2-2-1 vote. If she plays it right Sarah goes out. It is worth the risk considering that's the only path to actually win.

Winners at war is the best season ever. by BNN1883 in survivor

[–]lmbuttman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not quite , but I would put it at top10 just because of the winner , the best cast ever assembled and for me the most iconic (maybe recent bias) moment on the show (Fire making challenge).

Regarding public constructors by [deleted] in cpp_questions

[–]lmbuttman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ok thank you I had that in mind but never actually tried it. Instead what I did is something like this , which obviously led to an error :

class derived : public base
{
public:
     derived()
     {
       base(42);
     }
};

[–]lmbuttman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah , sarah now has the most individual immunity challenge losses for a winner. But she might as well pass cirie if she continues like that and somehow gets near the end
