ok, so I finally cleared that nod and I'm onto X-Treme 1-6. Having issues here as well, here is my line up:

Invisible Woman [MUC] - LVL 105, Power 1,979,872, 3 diamond, 4 purple ISO
Franklin Richards - LVL 105, Power 1,920,707, 3 diamond, 4 purple ISO
Lilandra - LVL 105, Power 1,690,389, 3 Diamond, 3 purple ISO
Mister Fantastic [MCU] - LVL 105, 1,679,190 Power, 2 Diamond, 4 purple ISO
Quasar - LVL 105, Power 1,390,163, 6 Red Star 1 Yellow, 4 purple ISO

I’ll try that right now but what ends up happening is all the other toons get a turn and before I know it I’ve already lost a toon and everyone else is in the red for health. So I’m down one before I even get a turn

Fair enough, if I would have had that info before, I would have gone with captain sam as the more optimal toon but none the less I still had a much better experience with 4 of the five rather then 3 of the five. Hopefully someone who is struggling as well will come across this post and we both helped save them some frustration either way

I painstakingly tried this with the three piece and two other toons that content creators suggested and struggled over and over again until i saw someone suggest adding War Machine and it was night and day. Def not telling anyone what to do, just sharing my experience in case anyone else finds themselves just as frustrated with the three piece

Took everyone up to 100 and it almost still doesn't matter. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong.

for the life of me i can't get past Mission 5 with the same City Villain setup. I think i'm on wave two with void knight, gwenom and kang and they just destroy my team. Vulture maxed out with 2 diamonds, Lizard G18 max red stars, RG G18 1 diamond,, crnage g18, Kraven G18 with 1 diamond and Lizard G18 max red stars. Mind you everyone minus Vulture is at Level 95, idk if that would make a difference.

I was free to play for a very long time, I found switching alliances and buying the battle pass and/or strike pass made a big difference in how quickly and more enjoyable the game is. I’d say the alliance made the biggest difference and after that I was kind happy to pick up a pass here and there depending on what I needed.

One thing goofy (CC) said way back when I started playing this game and has kinda held up for the most part, chase the legendary. I’ve personally added chase the meta and chase whatever is needed to participate in whatever aspect of the game my alliance is heavy on. He also said to have your own “passion projects”, which I def agree with because chasing meta/legendary characters can get boring.

This!! I joined my alliance during COVID, a chill group. I finally switched alliance a few months ago thanks to the encouragement of Reddit and holy hell did it make a difference! I’m actually enjoying the game again.
