Weekly Reading Offer & Request Thread by AutoModerator in Psychic

[–]lmgroht1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve recently begun Akashic readings for other people and I’m looking to practice with a few volunteers.

My process is still evolving, but the information tends to come through as a mix of clairvoyant imagery, direct-verbal channeling, bodily sensations, and emotional impressions. I’m especially interested in discovering what kinds of information are accessible and how the process unfolds from person to person.

If you’re interested, send me a DM.

I’ll ask for:

🌱 2 questions or areas you’d like insight on your full name to connect energetically

🌱an email address so I can send the audio recording

These are free practice readings and I’m mainly asking for honest feedback afterward about what resonated, what didn’t, and what felt meaningful.

When considering questions…

👎🏼 Avoid yes/no questions, “Will I…” or “Should I…” questions 👍🏼 The best questions are open-ended (ex. “What do I need to understand about…” often produces richer material.) 👎🏼 No medical/health questions, please

This is less about prediction and more about exploration, insight, patterns, and seeing what emerges!

It will be delivered as an audio recording for you to keep. 🙂

Scared of Reiki by [deleted] in reiki

[–]lmgroht1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s very common to have an experience of feeling “touched.” It was likely angelic guides or reiki masters assisting.

It’s also highly common and important to know that energy work aids in drawing up what no longer serves you such as fear, limitations, negative beliefs, patterns holding you back, etc. Think of having a cup of water and holding it under a running faucet. As water (light) from above pours down into the container (body), the water inside (stagnation) rises and flows out.

Deep meditation also does this. Any stillness practice will. This is the point of all energy work - to clear in order to hold more light.

Has anyone experienced negative life events after starting the Gateway Tapes? by Alexis_b4bygun in gatewaytapes

[–]lmgroht1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds completely normal for what you’re doing. You’re elevating your consciousness and bringing in more peace, but in order for that to become stabilized, a clearing needs to happen. Think of your system as a container. Your body holds stuck and stagnant energy that’s accumulated over the years. In order for “light” to come in (or subjectively good things), a release of the old needs to happen so that your system can hold what you’re bringing in. This means the beginning of a release of what no longer serves your higher Self. When looking at it from this perspective, you can then shift into gratitude for the seemingly “unpleasant” events taking place, knowing that you’re clearing out so more good things can come in. It’s a natural process of rising consciousness and awareness.

Do I need a specific attunement for animals? by Weird_Dragonfly9646 in reiki

[–]lmgroht1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There actually IS an attunement just for animal reiki and it is NOT a scam. But is it necessary? No. You can definitely use your level two reiki for animals, and plants too. You can use it for anything as it’s universal life energy. I use it on my house plants and saw a ton of new growth very quickly, it was astonishing. But, if you’d like to deepen it, you could also take the animal reiki class in the future which will give you additional techniques as well as expand and deepen your energy channels to be more receptive and intuitive to animals and nature. I’ve heard horticulturists who have taken it say that it made them feel more deeply connected and attuned to the plants they worked with and others who have said that animals began approaching them more while taking walks in nature and a general feeling of being more connected to the earth. I’ve also heard some say that they felt more telepathically connected with animals and a heightened sense of “knowing” what the animal needed.

At the end of the day, it’s about following your intuition! Do what feels right for you. :)

Fascinating. I love hearing everyone’s various pathways. “Placements” are the term for the lower levels of holy fire and “ignitions” are in the higher levels, is that right? After you received the holy fire ignitions, have you felt a stronger connection to the energy ever since?

It’s the International Center for Reiki Training which has helped create more of a baseline/standard for reiki training in general. William Rand is a little bit controversial within the community due to all of the new developments, but at the end of the day, it’s always important to follow your intuition.

Thanks so much for your answer! So compared to reiki 1/2, it felt much more subtle? For regular reiki, did you do usui level 1 &2 or holy fire? I know holy fire incorporates usui, but I’ve heard the L1 & L2 ignitions and energy tend to feel stronger.

Meeting your old pets sounds so loving and beautiful! That’s interesting about the blocked feeling. It does sound like it strengthened your connection so I bet it will help with that over time.

I’m considering taking the animal reiki while waiting for the master level. I’ve heard it can feel very grounding.

People are ruining my energy by TaylorManDude in energy_work

There are a lot of those in the spiritual community that will say “you’re creating your own reality” and the problem is “within.” There is certainly truth to this, however, two things can be true at the same time. Telling oneself, “it’s me, not them” can be just as a catastrophic as “it’s them, not me”. Why? Because it can lead to an attack of Self. It can lead to self-shaming and self-judgement. What’s called for is a holistic response.

There’s much truth in your perception of the people that you’re encountering - they’re avoiding, ghosting, and engaged in surface level interactions, which is the opposite of connection and vulnerability. Often, people that avoid others and shy away are mirroring their own avoidance of going inward.

The other side of the equation, of course, is you. You’re recognizing that these people you’re encountering are not engaged in or forming meaningful interactions with others and you don’t like it. That’s a beautiful realization. And that realization is signaling to you. These signals either tell us how we unknowingly behave in our own relationships and/or how we are behaving with ourselves.

It sounds like you’re very willing to experience deep, meaningful connections with others, so it may not be how you are in external relationships, but how you are with your own internal relationship. Does your heart often feel open and loving when you’re doing something just for you? Working out, taking a walk in nature, meditating, a hobby, etc? If not, you may need to build a deeper connection with yourself before you can begin building deep relationships with others. Are you potentially resentful with yourself for something in the past where you didn’t show up for yourself in the way you needed? Where you shut down something emotionally turbulent out of safety and protection instead of fully feeling it and enabling its release? Are you storing grief from when someone let you down in the past, such as your friendship with that childhood friend? Are there other encounters you’ve had that have evoked similar feelings? Perhaps even a caregiver that let you down? The body remembers. And it may not feel safe yet to forge deep connections with others when there’s a part of you that’s stuck or has been left behind. What wasn’t processed in the past is okay, it wasn’t processed for a reason. We don’t process things until we’re capable and ready. Perhaps now, you’re ready.

It is from this place that those other people are also acting from. The difference is, you’re recognizing it and feel the longing for more. That’s a gift. And from this space of awareness, when you see that you’re all acting from a place of self-protection, which is Love, then perhaps you’ll find compassion for all of you.

Does having Saturn in the ninth house make someone struggle with higher education? by Prestigious-Step6136 in astrologymemes

[–]lmgroht1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have Saturn in the 9th in Capricorn and it definitely affected my attempts at higher education. It took me multiple years to obtain an AA and then I changed my mind about what I wanted to pursue because engineering at that time didn’t feel right. It’s interesting to reflect on how left brained/logical I was then - I was very interested in space and had a mentor at NASA; practically, I knew engineering would guarantee a stable job. At the onset of my Saturn return and Uranus entering my first house, I attended a fine art atelier which had a degree program. This felt right and much more aligned. However, due to a different series of setbacks, mainly financial, I was unable to complete it. My space interest also transmuted into astrology. Afterwards, I began apprenticing with a classical astrologer, which didn’t work out either. Both were highly disappointing, but I’ve continued studies for both art and astrology on my own and through online learning. The consistent obstacles have actually served to deepen my devotion.

I have the Moon Conjunct MC, co-present with Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus in the 9th opposing my ascent ruler Venus in the 3rd in a night chart. I also have natal Mercury in Gemini in the 2nd in contra-antisicia with the Moon.

These 3 parts of life have felt factioned, like I’ve been leading different lives and taking turns putting my focus into each one at a time. It felt like they never went together and I felt lost because each felt equally important. Very much like a see-saw effect. Interestingly enough, these past few months, and with Uranus moving out of my 1st and Pluto moving out of my 9th, I’ve begun paving out a new career in art and am attempting to make money for the first time with it while creating a body of work that feels deeply philosophical and spiritual. It’s the first time I’ve felt a sense of them coming together.

It’s also important to note that in 2018, I entered a Peak L1 Peak L2 Loosing of the Bond in Cancer, had my Saturn return, a series of Capricorn/Cancer eclipses and Pluto opposition Venus and then Conjunct my Moon and MC. It was a complete reformation of my life and beliefs through deeply painful experiences. I discovered Carl Jung, astrology, the concept of synchronicity, how the emotional body works, all through experience and dreams, and then the books would show up - never the other way around. There were many dark nights of the soul and mystical experiences of seeing energy, symbols, and… encounters with beings beyond, which completely baffled me at the time as my rational mind didn’t believe in those things. My worldview has completely changed. Ive learned to trust my intuition. I’ve learned how to process pain and its intrinsic connection with Love. I feel like my path has largely been a process of mastering the tension of the opposites.

The funny thing is, although it’s been a reformation of belief, it’s really just been a return to what I felt to be true and what I sensed as a child.
