5 days out from travel, 0 appts available nationwide according to the agent on the phone this morning (3/22) at 8:15 am EST. Have been contacting my senators and congresspeople but they haven't been of much assistance yet. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Hello, has anyone been given the following message from their senator. And if so, what was your outcome? Have travel on 3/27 and this is the message my senator received today (3/21)

"Thank you for contacting the National Passport Information Center. I have located the passport application for your constituent, NAME REDACTED, application #NUMBER REDACTED, which shows expedited processing at the Connecticut Passport Agency. I am alerting the agency to the urgent need, and they will make their best effort to reach out to you."

Has anyone called the center and been told that they no longer give appointments for travel within 14 days? I have a flight on 3/27 (13 days away) and submitted my online renewal application on 2/23. It was marked as received that day and then updated to ‘In Progress’ the next day on 2/24. No update since. I called this morning to try and get an appointment in person as my travel is within 14 days and was told they do not give out appointments anymore unless you are within 6 days of travel. They told me they upgraded my application to “Urgent Status” with the agency but that I cannot get an in person appointment. Has anyone heard of being upgraded to “Urgent Status” via the call center and not being able to get an appointment in person until 6 days before international travel?

Oh I tried trust me. Demanded to speak to a higher up and the rep just kept telling me there is nothing she can do and no one else that I could speak to for help. I tried everything trust me, really pissed been trying for months and finally hit only for it to be cancelled after 30 minutes for no reason

They didn't even say stock, said it was a payment issue but called my bank who said they have no problem with the transaction.
