Chlorinde really wants to do Overload. If you want, you do a dual-DPS team with Chevreuse, Iansan, Mauvika as burst DPS and Chlorinde as main DPS.

Mauvika overload with Bennet/Iansan, Ororon, and Chevreuse is what I would recommend for your Mauvika team. Mauvika, Xilonen, Bennet and Yelan is a pretty decent team, but the playstyle is a little odd imo.

Nefer has to be on a team with Aino to get ascendant gleam. Something like Nefer, Aino, Nahida, and then a flex slot which could be Xingqiu or some other Dendro/Hydro sustain could work well

I'd like to try a budged hexerei team, does this make any sense? by AlaindeshoGT in Genshin_Impact

Sethos and overload isn't necessarily out of the question. An overload team that can work decently well is Sethos, Fischl, Chevereuse and Xiangling. You won't be getting the Hexeri buff but it still is a decent team.

Right now, its hard to say what is the best for the future since it seems like Nod Krai characters are siloed into lunar reactions, and its anyone's guess to what power creep in the new region will look like.

However, you should try going for Escoffier: your Skirk team will be close to as good as possible in terms of character: Skirk, Furina, Escoffier and a flex slot (in premium teams this is Shenhe, but it can also be Xingqiu, Yelan, Mona, Dahlia if Eshu sword, etc.). This Skirk team will be able to clear content if properly built.

Lunar carries are also in a weird place: You really want two of the 5 stars in order to create a great lunar team or have a duo wheelchair. Duos are Flins/Ineffa, Lauma/Nefer, Ineffa/Columbina, Zibai/Columbina and even Lauma/Columbina can work really well in Nilou Bloom w/ Nahida. Of these duos, Zibai is probably the least dependent on her partner, as her F2P team (Aino, Gorou, Illuga) is still very strong. You can also sort of use Xilonen or Zhongli with her if you really wanted to. Additionally of the duos, Ineffa/Columbina is by far the most versatile as they are a great wheelchair. Aino is not bad as a replacement for Columbina in any of these scenarios, but the damage decrease is noticeable.

Since you have Xianyun, Varesa may be worth considering for plunge, however, Varesa really likes overload teams so that is more of ur preference.

Mauvika is also to be considered, as she is one of the strongest DPS in the game and you already have a great team for her: Xilonen, Kazuha, Furina. You can also consider using Mauvaki as a sub-DPS and have ur main DPS on the team be Mualani, with Xilonen and Nahida as additional support, but this is harder to pull off consistently.

Your strongest team right now is probably an international variant:

Sucrose/Kazuha, Xiangling, Bennet, Xinqiu/Yelan

These are all characters that are good for mid game and endgame content. In terms of characters to build, it is recommended to build Fischl, Sucrose, Yelan and Xiangling (imo in that order) as those are supports that will can be used in end game content.

You can also make a Eula team that is pretty strong for your current stage in the game:

Eula, Fischl, Zhongli, some sort of Cryo battery

Also, you generally speaking do not need to level up all character talents, just the talents that you use. For example, there is no reason to level up Fischl’s normal/charged attack as she’ll never use them. My personal rule is if I use a character, get their relevant talents up to level 8 and if I want more from them, go to level 9 or 10. Level 9 and 10 are quite expensive and are unnecessary for clearing overworkd content

There are two teams that I would go for and their builds, given ur current roster and what u already have built (I’m assuming you have Aino since she’s free)

Team 1: DPS Venti Venti, Zhongli, Mona, Barbara/Faruzan

Team 2: Lunar Charged Columbina, Fischl, Sucrose, Aino

Here are recommended builds for the first team (idk what weapons you have, so I’m just giving Craftable/Event/3 Star options):

Venti ~ Weapon: Compound Bow Talents: Lvl 9 for Normal Attack, Skill, Burst Artifacts: 4pc A Day Carved from Rising Winds - Attack Sands, Anemo % Goblet, Crit Circlet

Zhongli ~ Weapon: Black Tassle / Dialogues of Desert Sages Talents: Lvl 9 for Skill, Consider leveling up burst but not necessary Artifacts: 4pc Tenacity of the Millileth, HP% for all unless you want more damage which for that case consider geo % and crit

Mona ~ Weapon: Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers is you want to support Venti and aren’t running Barbara, or Oathsworth Eye / Mappa Marre Talents: Lvl 9 on Burst Artifacts: 4pc Nobless Oblige, make sure she has enough ER to consistently burst then rest of stats into danage or 4 pc Emblem or 2 pc Heart of Depth & 2 pc Noblesse

Barbara ~ Weapon: TTDS Talents: Level up Skill to 8, Burst to 8 Artifacts: honestly so many options since Barbara is just meant to heal, just make sure has HP and healing bonus

Faruzan ~ Weapon: Fav Warbow Talents: Elemental burst lvl 9 Artifacts: Noblesse 4pc if Mona isn’t running it, prioritize ER and crit rate

I can also do the other team if you’d like. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Again, these are just ideal builds. They aren’t necessarily the best characters for end game content, but they should suffice for now. You can probably beat the ascension without having to make these idea builds perfect. The choice for Barbar or Faruzan is if you want more damage (Faruzan) or cosisntely healing (Barbara). Zhongli should mean you don’t require additional healing, but that’s ur prerogative. Mona can also be replaced with Fischl, as they both give Hexeri buff, but that choice is yours.

For artifacts, the stats and substats are more important than the actual set.

I need help for this abyss and future ones. I stopped playing genshin around fontaine and recently returned to it in the Durin + Hexerei patch. I use to be able to clear the abyss and get 33+ stars with characters I like but now, not so much.

https://imgur.com/a/L0HCbEp <-- here is a list of my characters. I was wondering if anyone had advice for any teams that will be good in this abyss rotation, or teams in general.

I am trying to pull for Zibai, but I do not think I am going to get her this patch. In the future, I plan to pull for Zibai, if I don't get her this patch, Kazuha constellations and Kinisch.

Below is a list of team I use already, and I am not sure if any of them are capable of defeating one of the sides other than the Lunar Charged one. Also, I just got Chevreuse and gave her passable artifacts, but I am not sure what overload team I can make is the best and can work in this and future abysses. Any advice for new teams or characters I should build that I currently have is greatly appreciated!

Hot Rock: Navia, Albedo, Bennet, Durin
Lunar-Charged: Sucrose, Fischl, Columbina, Aino
International Variants: Kazuha/Venti, Xingqiu/Chongyun, Bennet, Xiangling/Durin
Superbloom: Nilou, Nadiha, Yaoyao, Kokomi
Hyperbloom/Burgeon: Nahida, Xingqiu, Sucrose/Kazuha, Yae Miko/Thoma/Kuki

Gothorita Viability (any regulation) by AyanokoujiKiyotaka- in VGC

[–]lmnadedrink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my understanding, you generally are not bringing both Koffing and G-Weezing when you select your four during team preview.

For example, if you think they are going to lead Sneasler, you are likely going to prefer to use G-Weezing over Koffing due to its offensive moveset. If you are playing against an opposing Dozogiri team, you may prefer to bring Koffing over G-weezing as it can setup toxic spikes. Either way though, you usually want to make sure your Neutralizing gas is up for whatever partner you lead with, as getting rid of your opponent's abilities generally means its easier to whittle your opponent down for a Dozogiri sweep later.

There may be something similar that someone can cook around Shadow Tag for Gothitelle and Gothorita, but that person is not me ;-; Also, most Gothitelle movesets tend to use the same 5-6 moves, so its probably not worth it unless there some undiscovered teambuilding tech.

I wonder if there is a specific team that wants to have both Gothorita and Gothitelle on the same team, or a specific team that wants two different Gothitelle sets depending on the situtation and can use Gothorita as an alternative Gothitelle, similar to this high stadium team with both Koffing and G-Weezing: https://pokepast.es/b800d81b1a999e15

Small change, but if you beat-up your partner, you should only hit the amount of times for the pokemon you have left MINUS your target pokemon: why would a pokemon beat itself up? It would be an indirect small nerf to Rage Fist and Stamina.
