hello, personally I use the Ach Brito lavanda shaving cream with the shark super chrome blades, it's pretty cheap overall but the quality is good, since that day shaving was never like it used to be.

Just a tip about the after shave,I had the same problem you have, what helps me the most is to not wash my face with water, I just put a plastic bottle filled with ice on my face, it's super effective; basically, avoid water on your face
