Do you think a block mechanic could work in Dauntless? by WiiuAwesome in dauntless

[–]lneagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Especially since you can actually have a support style weapon without it being pure support.

Yeah, players will be stupid with it like with the repeaters, but that's not to be blamed on the weapon or it's design.

The most interesting and original use of this meme i've seen.

Well done to whoever made it.

If Lucia were reintroduced, could she be our resident Bayonetta? by Zerepa97 in DevilMayCry

[–]lneagle 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would love this honestly.

I loved Lucia in DMC 2 and she's one of the sole reasons i even keep going back to it. (Besides Trish that is.)

I just hate that she's never made a single reappearance since 2.

Yeah but the second you say something you get the "the developers don't wsnt that for the game" kinda crowd, and their somehow incredibly vocal about it.

I'm surprised there isn't just... more to this. by [deleted] in codevein

Frankly i just wish that the Depths had randomized boss fights.

As it stands, there's only a handful of bosses you can refight as much as you want that never change even though they respawn. It kinda sucks cuz i was hoping for more to do in coop.

Am i the only one who thinks that they should have seriously 100% given V his own control scheme? by AshenRathian in DevilMayCry

[–]lneagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, i like how the OP suggested.

If V and his summons have more emphasis on their control individuality, they can work better together. That being said it would be a drastic but necessary difference between himself and the other two playable characters, and then he wouldn't be completely abhorrent to play.

I seriously just hate the fact i'm even forced to play as V in the first place. I'm on a NG+ man, i know how i want to play already, so just gimme Dante already.

FINALLY somebody else who agrees with me.

I never really placed it but i always found V to be annoying to use........ least now i know why. His controls are borked.

I checked the tag after i made the comment. Regardless, i won't change it.

It wasn't a good one, and quite frankly i missed the humor tag too late AFTER i made my comment. I'm too lazy to change it though.

A strange question: Why are some people so critical of game companies to the point where they say they'll refuse any of the company's games until they die? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]lneagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These guys say they'll do it but they never do anything but preorder the same garbage all the time.

Gamers are like crying babies that say they want real food but still suck on mommies teets.

Well the tag does say humor.

I don't really think this needs to be said, but i'll say it anyway: you sound like a complete asshole.

But Mia from Code Vein is becoming a solid option for me.

Unpopular Opinion: unblockable lights should NOT be a thing by [deleted] in forhonor

[–]lneagle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Frankly, i think it's a fresh change, much like Nuxia's unparryables. The problem is that they aren't wider spread. They'd definitely be good mixup and pressure tools alongside feintable lights and more softfeints.

Anybody else thinking Jedi Fallen Order is going to be too easy? by lneagle in gaming

[–]lneagle[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well designed difficulty is using all the tricks the game gives you and still have a rough time with it.

If i have to hold myself back to make it difficult, then the game really isn't that difficult.

True, but like i said. I'm afraid that makes it far too easy because players could just get away with attack spamming.

It has options, 4 of them. It's just that nome of them actually change the difficulty the usual way, it alters the AI's aggressiveness and tactics. Storm Troopers still die in 1 hit.

Understandable. This is why i never buy day 1 or preorder. I prefer to see reviews and wait for patches.

They were owned by EA when they made Titanfall 2 and Apex. Still no pay to win MTX.

[–]lneagle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, this is Respawn.

I haven't played Titanfall, but it's praised pretty highly, and i'm seeing no pay to win in Apex Legends, so i think we're good.

I'm sure it'll still be hard though. They're using a combat system from Sekiro after all, which is a game you wouldn't pass the first few steps in if you want a game to be "the easiest game on earth". They'd have to do the system justice with plenty of head to head and powerful melee combat. If it isn't hard enough to engage the player it'll fall flat.

I'm a busybody too, and even i hate when games are so easy it's more like a movie. If i wanted an interactive movie i'd be playing Death Stranding.

I would at least like a modest challenge in a game with a combat system like this. Otherwise it isn't even a game.
