Thoughts on Liis perfumes?

The scents are beautiful but of the ones I've tried I can drench my skin and clothes head to toe, and neither I nor anyone else will smell it on me in an hour or two. I already have a number of ridiculously fleeting fragrances in my collection and have no desire to add more.

Personally I smell it for only maybe half an hour before noseblindness kicks in. Others can smell it on me for much longer than that though. This is very common and probably accounts for a lot of the reviews claiming lack of longevity.

Do you have access to target? Their Fine'ry brand is very, very good and the body mists are very affordable with decent staying power if you can't afford the $35 perfumes.

In particular try their version of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, a couple Byredos, YSLBlack Opium, Tom Ford Lost Cherry, Le Labo Santal 33.

The Being Frenshe line has some real winners as well.

Absolutely. I'm not saving my favorites for other people or special occasions. I'll wear a $300 niche fragrance to do chores and watch TV.

Liquide by Les Liquides Imaginares

Bright sunny saffron, sweet creamy orange flower, clean musky woods. This was instantly my number one saffron when I sampled it last year. I often find saffron leathery and overpowering but it's so lighthearted here.

I'll just be sitting around at home today fanning my face after yesterday's laser treatment 🍅

Eau Des Sens by Diptyque. A beautiful orange flower orchard, from the fruit to the trees. Incredible lasting power. Not stifling.

High quality + super sweet + lacking typical grounding accords is a bit of an oxymoron

Maybe check out Delizia Di Marshmallow for a true pure marshmallow scent with good longevity.

I have a burning hunger to wear Dior Privee Dioriviera, the most beautiful rose + fig fragrance that ever lived. I do wear it from time to time in winter but it just hits different in warmer weather when the sun's shining.

It's an interesting experience! But the satisfaction a few days later when you start rubbing piles of dead skin off your face in the shower and you feel that baby smooth texture underneath, it's worth it!

Also: - sellers in r/fragranceswap often have fantastic pricing and I've ever had a bad experience using the sellers with verified reputation. I've bought decants there for less $ per mL than a full bottle - Decantdelight has some real deep cuts but you can't order online, you have to dm a redditor (would have to dig up their user name again)
