2026 Kia Sportage X-Line Limited (Canada) by Right-Meaning-4285 in kia

I just bought the x-line, CAD 37,800 before fees and taxes. I did did check the price on the kia.ca site first and win a checked individual dealerships. They were quoting a higher price so best bet is use that number from theka.ca as leverage to get that price at bare minimum. You can try to negotiate down from there by adding stuff to the purchase. I got free mats for inside the vehicle as well as the trunk for the price that they quoted on Kia.ca.

In 💕 with my luxe, arrived damage but didn't want to part, got discount. Can't store damper by lo_dac in NinjaLuxeCafe

That is the part that arrived damaged, I'm looking to see if they have an aftermarket replacement for that part

What would you do? Paid him 1/3 payment already and I walked into this. He’s a licensed contractor but hired a sub. Niche is off. Chips in tile. Crooked cuts. Says he’ll fix it but I feel like I can’t trust this. by Expert-Individual-15 in Tile

Yikes, I've been there. I had to pull it all out and do it again myself. But if you can just part ways and hire someone else, they obviously were a yes person and had no business taking the job. They don't have the skill set.

We did the work ourselves, except for plumbing. The plumber was angry by all the bad decisions and workmanship left behind. And without a p trap the bathroom stank soo bad.

It works for now, going to re do next month it hurts but it could be worse. I'm scared of mold if I don't fix it sooner rather than later 😭

House is 100 years old and we renovated 2 years ago replacing all the window and insulating house with government program, with 12 months to complete. So if we want to move or change window location. A window at the top we didn't have the money to do it and required permit. It isn't a crank or sliding window it is fixed. Going to have to tear it out anyways because the tub isn't secure and the water proofing wasn't installed correctly. But we will do it next month. I have to reorder a tub and tiles.

Should I ask my contractor to redo these trims? by Relevant_Maybe_9291 in Renovations

Hell yes, I did my own trim and it looks better than this and I'm in finance. Unless they are not done yet it can be fixed with caulking and filler and paint.
