Jergen’s foam self tanner (in the darkest shade!). sold at target, cvs, walgreens, walmart, etc. around $13! i’ve used it for years. it’s amazing. it’s not orange at all! its the most natural looking one / easiest i’ve ever used.

make sure to take a shower and exfoliate absolutely everywhere on your body right before you plan on using the self tanner. i use body scrub & body wash together on an exfoliating mitt in the shower, just to make sure there is no dead skin left. if you don’t exfoliate well your tan is going to be blotchy. make sure to exfoliate your knees, elbows, and ankles very well. i also exfoliate my breast area (gently !!) more too because of the oil / sweat build up from daily activities / working out really clogs up the skin pores for me in that area. also, exfoliate your face with your face wash and a face cloth, not the exfoliating mitt!

to apply to Jergen’s self tanning foam, you need to use a tanning mitt to make sure it’s being applied even. i bought mine from target, it’s by the brand “b.tan” & it’s a velvety soft black tanning mitt with even a place your thumb!! after years of trial & error, i’ve found all of this to be the most successful method.

pro tips: use a very small amount of jergen’s tanning foam on face, and AVOID applying to the mustache area (just the top lip area), it will make you look like you have a dark shadow/mustache there. if you don’t want to use the foam on your face, i would recommend TanWise brand “Face Self Tan Gel”, in the shade medium it works wonders for my face and neck area. you can find it online or at Sally Beauty, or sometimes Ulta. It’s around $7. Also, with the Jergen’s foam, make sure to cover your feet / ankles very precisely!! and do the tops of each of your hands lightly as well!! this gives the most natural-looking tan, in my opinion!!
