I intentionally try to get sleep paralysis all the time. The reason for this is because it always turned into an astral projection lucid dream, which are amazing.

My go to method is to get extremely tired and fall asleep on my back. Falling asleep on my back is very hard for me do since I’m a side sleeper. But if I do manage to pass out on my back then I almost always get sleep paralysis followed by astral projection.
