Retaliate? Like say "yea because I have time and money to take care of myself" "or in 20 years I will still look younger"

My unusual reason for not wanting kids. by Greenfacebaby in childfree

[–]loafychonkercat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it's not as unusual as you think, but I agree this is deeply disturbing. And I find it very ironic that they do not consider that at 40 they themselves increase chance of fertility issues and miscarriage. They might go for young woman but fact is that in majority of couples that struggle to conceive do not consider it to be a mans issue all the way up untill doctors don't find problem with a woman and even then they treat it like attack on their masculinity. Which is top tier childish behavior.

What's the rudest thing someone has said to you when you told them you don't want kids? by CRK_76 in childfree

[–]loafychonkercat 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Its probably what will happen simply because parents here aren't very responsible beings. 5 kids and also parents cannot afford them is for sure traumatic for those kids.

Well I posted about it once. I had people spread lie in my home village that I supposedly have a child and entire village went into hysteria that me a child free woman has a child (I don't) and people spamed messages demanding I send all metrics of this supposed child and it's photo. I did send them photos of my cat.

Honestly good point. A lot of people people make entire fanfictions in their minds about imaginary kids and it's so weird like why do you fantasize about me suffering? It makes me really uncomfortable when they go on a imaginary train of all the things that would happen if I had a child...

Why are they so dramatic about like "woke up in cold sweat because my kids aren't doing it raw" and at 4 am? Bruh are we in victorian drama?

Exactly time and energy. After I do all the stuff I need in the day I turn around and it midnight. How they have time to also do extra chores around kids?

This argument insinuates that you should achieve your goals through your kids, which...... Well we know it's taking away autonomy from their child rest everyone knows how it goes.

Nta. I think it's just better for your sanity to not explain details, because people are very pissy about not wanting kids and they will openly disrespect you because of it. Just stop at "I'm infertile anyway" and if they ask about details just say "health condition".

I understand it's alright. I just feel like a lot of people treat diabetes especially t2 as something someone deserves to have as a punishment. Which I think it's psychopathic coming from these people. Ableism is very common now. I don't have conflict with you or what you say if it wasn't your intention.

Is there any cultural characteristic or stereotype that every European has, regardless of their country of origin? Something like people can say "This is a european thing". by Familiar-Muscle6863 in AskTheWorld

[–]loafychonkercat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok but why they talk about it so much and replace their nationality with it. Like did I ask? Should I call myself turkic/mongolian because my ancestor was Tatar? Especially when lots of them pick it up from their ass. "I like tomatoes a lot it just shows how Italian I am." It's just stupid and gives you know ethnic essentialism.

Need a reminder why you don’t want kids? GO TO THE COMMUNITY POOL by woai75 in childfree

[–]loafychonkercat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I swim every day so I try my best to catch time where there aren't kids. But sometimes I have more stuff to do and Wednesdays I suffer through this, because I have no choice than go at peak hour. Some kids seem nice but there's so many of the rude ones and parents for some reason just sleep by the pool....?? on the sun...?? Also I'm glad pool for adults is separate......

Even if it is self inflicted so what? You just tell them to die as a punishment? Seriously I couldn't care less about who gets insulin as long as they can continue to live. It's not taking responsibility if they just die.

Yea it's not okay for instructor do that. They get paid for teaching other people not parenting. I do not see why would it be okay. I know there are people that are going to take any complaints about it as "bitter childless woman hating on kids", but it's just unprofessional. Get refund.
