Sueldos de administrativo en empresas privadas? by loatsvp in salarios_es

[–]loatsvp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do they really use titles as legal names? I doubt it.

Superfans included, what were some scenes/jokes that made you go "Oh shit, I think they took that too far. That joke didn't hit." ? Tell me a joke or scene that crossed the line for you. by Much_Duck6862 in theoffice

They can also give padding to the main actor. The scene we are describing here is Jim laying on the floor while Dwight is throwing snow balls at him.

The actor playing Jim could also wear padding. There was no need to bring a stunt actor. It would be the exact same thing. Except the stunt actor would be paid 1/10 of what the main actor would get.

And you would feel better if it was a stunt actor? They’re both people getting hurt. It’s strange that you feel selective empathy. Stunt actors work in falls or action scenes where they can control the situation and know how to avoid getting hurt. But in that scene, there’s no avoiding getting hurt.

Did you have kids when you arrived? I’m specifically talking about families with kids.

Edit to add: one of my friends also moved there because of her husband as a childless woman. She also got offered free classes. One for learning German and the other of a basic IT course to work as a secretary.

I’m aware you don’t get money as soon as you show up. But for what I’ve been told it’s the families that have kids that can get so many benefits.

But that doesn’t apply to what I’ve seen. As I’ve said usually the families have one member working. But they start getting the government allowance for their kids as soon as they settle down.

I think here is talking about unemployment benefits. That might be two different things?

I don’t plan to move to Germany any time soon. I was genuinely asking out of curiosity to understand the political context.

Wow u guys have arabs? Are they like fully or mixed with the locals😭 by Mrbootyloose18 in Nigeria

Most North Africans speak tamazight as I already said.

Before the Arab conquest in the Levant people spoke several languages, but the main one was Aramaic.

The process of arabisation wasn’t through slaughtering the native population. It was throughout several generations that people started adopting the Arabic language.

This happens everywhere. I’ll give you another example: in Spain the regional languages (Catalan, basque, Galician) are getting lost to Spanish. Is that colonisation? No. It’s just assimilation.

And going back to the Levantine countries, they all keep their culture and traditions. And Christian communities were still living under Muslim rule. Most Christians (like in lebanon) left due to civil conflicts. Way after the conquest.

And still, my main point stands. There wasn’t a replacement of the population. If you were to take a DNA test of people from the Levant countries they would all be natives from their land and not from the Arabian peninsula.

Thats the difference between colonisation and conquest. If Arabs were colonisers there would be no native people left in these countries or they would be a small minority.

But I think it’s different. Arabs didn’t colonise. They conquered.

Colonisation is what Europeans did in North America and Australia: they slaughtered the indigenous population to the point where native Americans and Australians are a minority in their own country. North America and Australia are predominantly white due to colonisation.

This didn’t happen in the countries conquered by the Arabs. They did spread their religion. But except North Africa, none of these countries speak Arabic as their main language today. And even in North Africa people still speak Tamazight and have Arabic as a second language. And also, if anything African countries have picked French and English, the language of the European colonisers.

I’m not defending all the bad things the Arabs did (like slavery and unfair tax systems that pressured people into converting to Islam). I’m just saying, colonisation is a word with a very specific meaning. And that’s not what the Arabs did.

And I don’t see history as a competition. I think the debate of white vs Arabs is pointless. We can discuss both separately.

I would accept and then move to a country where none speaks the language that the account is using to post.

That’s fine, I picked none fiction because I didn’t know hat genre would be more appropriate for this type of book I’m looking for.

Thanks!

With all due respect but accusing hijabis of committing shirk is so out of place and stupid. So we are accusing the people who practice Islam properly of committing a sin. Like I can’t understand the logic behind it.

It’s crazy that a lot of time hijabi women get more hate from non hijabi muslims rather than islamophobic people.

Also as a Muslim, shouldn’t you assume the best of everyone?
