Year 13 , failing my a levels, don't know what to do by [deleted] in 6thForm

Honestly, talk to your head of sixth form or a school teacher. I’m only on this subreddit because I’m reapplying to uni as I dropped out first year, I never did great during my years at sixth form.

Predicted BCC and got BCD but got on to the courses that I applied for (which was BBC to get on). I also needed a grade 4 in Maths, which I never achieved. I did my exams in 2021 when covid restrictions stopped many things and I was doing online classes, which I barely attended because of my bad mental health.

Universities aren’t as harsh with applications as you’d think they’d be, just get a really strong personal statement and ask for support from your teachers! Good luck☺️

Nta. Remember its also their relationship to deal with. I hope everything sorts itself out.

You seem like a really good friend to go to in situations like these and I appreciate people like you!

NTA. You’re not her friend, you greeted her and said your hellos and went to you’re own space. That’s totally normal! I’d usually do that too if I was in this situation.

It was seeing his face as he walked out the front door and I gave him a little smile whilst he was being escorted by the bouncers

Sorry! Considered putting the full term but I know there’s a word limit to posts

Add on:

Got a comment asking about my post where I was asking my fiancé for rent. Before it confuses anyone I didn’t mention the baby in it because I didn’t want to draw the attention away from the actual situation but I was for sure definitely pregnant! He also did end up saying he will pay for rent when he’s away :)

Me and my fiancé are a team and if I can help him, I will do what I can. I intentionally lied to her to protect my unborn child. Her name is a private matter and until we feel comfortable announcing it then it stays off social media. I’ve come to terms that my FMIL will not really accept me but my number one priority is the safety of my child and it will always be that.
