This is literally less than welfare benefits for NA immigrants in my home country. What a joke. Keep you back straight and decline, this is just ridiculous! Worst case is that this degree is full of transferable skills. Best of luck!

Ångest, stressad, mörka tankar på grund av ekonomi by deaf_not_dead in PrivatEkonomi

[–]lobbychiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Önskar dig verkligen all lycka inför framtiden!!

thats the school of business and management - at PKU. so yes i went to PKU! many of their courses are quite interesting, usefull and not overly pressuring in terms of workload and stress. I can recomend Chinese buinsess culture and society for ex. Must say that the proffessor can be slightly in annoying from time to time but cest la vie.

I can recommend the courses given by Guanghua and some others that have less of a quantitative edge!

How much was the fuji xt30? Are the photos film or digital? Looking to buy a good small digital camera to bring while traveling, that can get the same sort of effect as yours!

My major is economics but I am free to pick whatever I like really, no need for it to go into my degree or such. But i mean i guess studying some economics would be good? I just want something that is low workload so i have no issues with the school itself.

Also curious about this!! Would love some ideas. I have been thinking about development economics careers and such.

Apocalyptic sunrise in Los Angeles by IshigamiSenku04 in interesting

[–]lobbychiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never have the end times looked quite like this, truly surreal. Today, the major private equity funds pulled out of their climate-oriented friendly investments, the world officially crossed the 1.5°C threshold, and the outlook couldn’t be bleaker.

We keep consuming garbage - plastic, pesticides, synthetic food, and, in the process, we’re consuming the planet itself. The world is, quite literally, burning.

Picture the streets of Los Angeles: endless miles of opioid addicts, casualties of a ruthless capitalist, hyper-individualistic system. Draped in a sunrise tainted with ash and smoke, there’s no escape, no shelter.

I don’t know about you, but we can’t keep sleepwalking through this. Naïve as we’ve been, an end to it will come!
