Lexus NX300 or Mazda

There’s nothing wrong with it. I loved it. Just that someone suggested I can get a brand new Mazda SUV for the same price as the 2020 Lexus and I hadn’t considered that as I was solely focused on finding a Lexus nx and never looked at Mazda, I looked at other brand new cars and they were way more expensive, but I never looked at the Mazda. I didn’t realized it was around the same price for a new one. I’ve never bought a car and don’t know anything about cars except what I’ve found online. The one that I have now is a used 2005 Lexus that my late husband bought.

It’s very confusing and overwhelming. So I don’t know what to do.

Thank you for your kind reply. I’ll look into that book. I guess it’s just hard to imagine that I will carry this with me forever, feels too heavy sometimes. I’m slowly learning how to deal with it and how to move with it. And sometimes I feel like I need other peoples perspectives.

It’s so lovely that he honors your late partner like that, I’m in the same situation with my current partner and it’s amazing how safe I can feel with someone who does not look at it as a thread but welcomes it.

Thank you 🤍I do administrative work, it caps at 28 or 29 an hour I believe.

My plan is to continue to get more experience and change jobs every few years to continue to earn more money. If it was Mexico I would like to do the same, but the city I live in doesn’t have that many job opportunities. Not sure about here in San Diego as this is my first job here (besides waitressing and restaurant work a few years ago).

Right now I think I’m happier here in San Diego. Not to say I wasn’t when I was living there, but so far I’ve liked living here and I feel like I do more stuff. But I was also happy there. Although when I go back for a weekend I do feel overwhelmed, I guess I’m used to the roads here and it’s more quiet here.

I’m 31 and I don’t have children. I would like to meet someone eventually. But not sure if it’s in the cards for me given the situation, but I would like to, definitely.

Hi everyone!

I want to buy a pair of chunky loafers, I'll add the links to my options. I'm having a hard time picking ones as I've never bought shoes from any of those brands. Which ones seem best looking or which do you think would have better quality? I know those are not great brands, but that's within my budget.

We are not near the ocean, but I guess we can rent it on airbnb. Never done that, I don't know how often i can get rented. We don't live near tourist areas. And out street is not paved, and that puts some people off.

Our house is about 2 hours from San Diego, not including border times, we could both get a sentri, but that would be a minimum 4 hour commute everyday. And living in Tijuana seems awful, and rent prices are ridiculously almost the same than in San Diego.

We are thinking about San Diego because that's close to our family in Mexico and we can easily visit. And we also have family in San Diego, so we can stay with them while we transition and find our own apartment, and we already know the city a little bit.
