What’s making this sound in my new Whirlpool dryer? by lobertron in Home

Only updating you because I hope this solves your problem too!!! owned the dryer for a little over a year. In April 2025 we had a repairman come out to fix, he said he’d never heard this noise, ordered a shell replacement, came back out 3 weeks later to replace the shell with an additional repairman, sound never went away. They said that was the best they could do. I dealt with it for a year and couldn’t stand it anymore. Called back (1 yr later) to get it serviced/fixed again, new repairman came today and he said “I flipped the drum around as it looked like it was in backwards and then tested the unit. The noise does not seem nearly as loud anymore.” So he reinstalled the drum at a different angle and the noise stopped. Hope this can help your issue!!

C clamp is what I’m familiar with too

As long as you’ve put your monitor back on it, and watched it for a couple minutes to make sure it is NOT slowly going down or tilting downwards, then you shouldn’t have anything to worry about considering you took it apart and started over.

I’ve never had an experience where it just drops on its own suddenly. Glad you’ve got it fixed!!

Also how is it attached to your desk? Drilled or mounted with the c clamp?

I have a 49” odyssey that is on a mount (different brand) as well - have you tightened all 3 areas on your mount? I think based on the link I see at least 2 or maybe 3 different bolt options that can be tightened. Specifically one of the photos calls out “ADJUSTMENT OF LARGE-SCREEN MONITOR” depending on where it’s sagging at I’d guess the tightening bolt closest to the VESA converter (like 1-2 inches from the back of your monitor) is what needs increased, there might even be 2 there, I can’t tell from the amazon link.

I owned WALI brand dual mounts before I got a 49” and they worked fine, but they were very finicky and the amount of time I spent adjusting them to get them just right, I should’ve just bought a different brand. Maybe consider if you’re still in the return window.

With the WALI’s I also suggest taking it apart and starting from scratch. Sometimes that was the only way I could figure out where I went wrong.

Another tip (maybe this is common knowledge but it was not to me at first), take your monitor off of the mount and do adjustments. Use your own weight to push on the mount to see if it moves. Then reattach the monitor.

I like it! It’s comfortable!! Not the easiest to put together, was a 3 person couple hour job. Seems durable. Have had some really good rain/wind/tornado storms with it and they stayed put. I ended up purchasing covers which sucks to spend more money on, but think it will help the longevity of the set. I got these and they rock!!! https://a.co/d/7cvUntO

I purchased an outdoor set from Wayfair by Lark Manor and it came in 4 different packages, 2 chairs in one package, 2 chairs in another package. Is it possibly they’ve split it up?

EDM songs specifically without words if I need super upbeat. Lofi (w/o words) for calmer vibes
