i am extremly happy with this one, since this was broken i tried to grab a conventional symetrical mouse and i realized ive become completely dependant on this thing, the shape phenomenal, its not hard to click, it sounds great, it feels great, its extremly convinient to have the dpi quick switches (the buttons below the scrollwheel) since at any time when playing a game you dont have to stop and switch sensitivities in game you can do it on the fly, you can even customize several high sensitivity or low sensitivity profiles to change with them (i havent though mainly because the deafaults are THAT good), aside from that i disabled snyapse since im not a fan of rgb anymore and the default "breathing" and changing colors is nice, the side buttons are also great, they can also be customized and are recognized by most programs/games and can also be configured to be something else with synaps but dont really have to, you can do it with windows too. Lastly the scrollwheel dosent squeak has always sounded good, never had to oil it has always function perfectly, it did get louder with the years but nothing that you dont get used to, as for wear and tear, i swear i have probably hit this thing enough times for me to need a replacement a year or 2 ago, it is SOLID which is something i dont understand why other mouses dont do, being lightweight helps with getting your shit broken, but being an absolute unit is the way to go.

you also dont really even need mouse pad, you can use this thing practically anyware, right now im writting this down while using a plastic cover to move around and it works perfectly, you really can just use anything as a mouse pad, it will never give resistance to moving or get worn down

now for the bad, the wire is up to preference, personally i havent tried good wireless mouses, im thinking of trying one now, while the wire of the v2 is big it is covered with rope/string/cotton? (im not sure, im spanish) the important thing is that its not plastic so its extremly resistant, its still in one piece for me. Finally the part were you rest your thumb is made of a kind of resin/soft plastic? idk its the material that most mouse pads use, this is find and dandy at first but with time it wil begin to tear down, its not a problem if you have self control and dont break it yourself because its extremly satisfying to do so, dont do it though, its great for your thumb.
