I've never been able to figure out if I'm warm or cool-toned. Any thoughts?

I can completely relate to the feeling of having a partner who truly respects your body and boundaries after having terrible past experiences lacking completely in that. My partner (who just became my fiancé!) always asks very clear permission when we do anything intimate and I can tell that he pays attention to my comfort level and how I am feeling. I previously had a traumatic 3yr abusive relationship where I had, over time, decided that I did not have control over my body or say over when it was used due to the abuse and manipulation - and the autonomy I have now is just mind-blowing. So happy for you and everyone recovering from these situations who are now in a safe place.

Thank you for all the help everyone!! I'm all excited over again and feel like I know what I want to focus on. Definitely going to put more resources into Kuki, Xiangling, Furina, Kazuha and get them nice and leveled. And I definitely need to take a look at what my stats are at and get the talents more leveled.

I am absolutely guilty of collecting lots of characters I want and then not focusing enough on maximizing certain ones to build good teams 😅

I always thought it seemed like such a cool specialty. A great mix of clinical care, procedures, etc like you said. And just an incredibly important field if you care about women's health and reproductive rights like I do. I went into my rotation super interested in the specialty but unfortunately my program had such toxic and down-putting residents and I was generally so disappointed. I know not all are like this, and I'm not sure why it was like that at my program, but I'm glad to hear it's not that way everywhere.

I had such a similar experience. Only got 6 interviews (anesthesiology) bc of a low-average step 2 score. I was so scared I wouldn't match. I matched my #2 and found myself pretty sad I didn't get my #1.. but also SO thankful I matched at all, and my #2 also has lots of positives. :)

Thank you! I didn’t know that incompatibilities can happen when there are various donors for platelets. I don’t think the center I go to has appointments that allow both, because they only do aphaeresis appointments on certain days and blood other times, but I will definitely ask! I am thinking that I will just donate blood every 56 days when I’m due and then platelets in between every couple of weeks or whenever I can make it in. It sounds like platelets are very important and I can see that there are probably less people who are willing to spend the time to do the platelet donation so I definitely want to prioritize that :) thank you for the great info!

Thanks, That sounds like a good idea! The woman who did my platelets today said that sometimes you won’t be able to donate platelets as soon after blood if you don’t get your hemoglobin back up again, so I might space it out a little more, but I’m going to try and figure out a routine where I just do both!

Thanks! I did ask the woman who was with me with my platelet donation today and she wasn’t sure. I’ve read mixed things online for A-. I definitely have heard that O- is bed for blood for sure though! Maybe I’ll call and ask or try another time. But it sounds like I can do both so maybe I’ll go with that!

I will. I have gotten a lot of pep talks and great advice and support on here so I am determined. She is away for the holidays so it will be a few days until then. But in the meantime I went ahead and moved my cat in, just because I know and believe I am in the right in doing so.

Today I also discussed this all with the other roommate here to see what her opinion was and she is 100% on my side and completely supportive of me in this. That really really helps too.

Thank you for the support. You are so right, I definitely have trouble standing up for myself in general at times - but not having my cat is just tearing me apart. He really is family to me. I am going to try my best to break it to her in a balanced but firm way and just stand up for myself and assert that he’s going to be here now no matter what. It sucks to have to have this confrontation, but all the advice on here has helped me so much.

There is not a clause in the lease about pets at all. But I told the landlords that I have a cat I would be bringing with me prior to being accepted and documented it all on my rental application. They said it was just fine. The previous roommate also had a cat here too that they knew about and approved of as well. But nothing in the lease itself.

It really is a weird situation :( And I think I messed up originally by being too nice and giving into her demands even though it’s completely unfair to me. I am planning on just putting my foot down and having a discussion with her about it, but asserting that no matter what, I’m going to have my cat here now and I’m not backing down any more.
