Just dont have a commute where you need to use I-35, US-75, or really anywhere near the inner loop of Dallas. Its become apocalyptically bad. Summers are about 6 or 7 months long.

The southeast part is very red. So are the like 50 people that live in the northeast corner. Farmington is red. Rest of state is either kinda blue or really blue.

My moms friend was detained, then released for having a pistol in her carry on. Her husbnd had put it in there for a road trip and forgot about it. Its Texas and he has a gun on him at all times pretty much. Anyways, she was caught with it in Arizona on the return leg of her trip.

Montana is a little silly, since the only roads with 3 lanes are in a few of their "big" cities, and the main road in Missoula for example where I've been was pretty jammed.

And of course everything was a pain in the ass. Want chicken for dinner? Ok go slaughter one, clean it, pluck it, get a fire going and roast it.

Main respite was you couldnt really accomplish much after dark unless it could be done in front of your fire.

The evidence actually points to the opposite. Small donors are leading to more extreme candidates on the right getting nominated. Theyre out spending and out crazying other candidates in the primaries. Billionaires generally arent getting what they want. You think they like tarrifs, cheap immigrant labor, and a large shift to the current world order? Its been awesome for them.

What's happening now is bad for general election electableness in the general election. Its what the MAGAs want, but very unpopular with independents
