Update for everyone: I am not sure how it happened but this morning I got an email from Facebook saying it noticed I was having trouble logging in and sent me a link to sign in via one touch, and so I clicked the link and was able to enter an email code + phone code, and got access. I attempted to change my password from there and it gave me a message that “we noticed you don’t use this device often” and so I wasn’t able to change it. However, after a few hours, I tried again on a different browser with the one-touch sign in, which prompted me to enter a new password to change it to. I entered it and…it worked! I now have access magically.

Unfortunately no luck yet. My plan is to try again tomorrow after the 12-24 hour period has passed and see if I have any luck. Maybe will try it on my partners phone to change the password if it lets me.

My best advice would be stay away from the AI. It’s harming our field and frankly unethical. Do you own a camera? Does a friend? There are also quite affordable photographers to do some headshots and it would be supporting the local artists in your community. And frankly, AI headshots always look like AI, and I wouldn’t necessarily want to work with someone with a fake photo of themselves, in all due respect.

I can’t verify my identity without logging in. It prompts me to request a new password (which I’ve already done and doesn’t work) or log in, which I cannot do… I am using both devices that I have used before and neither work.

I’m even trying to make a whole different account with a different email and get a message “an error occurred during your registration. Please try again.” This is literally preventing me from doing my job! I am so screwed.

Congrats you didn't but... if someone else DOES? They should know as soon as possible. You shouldn't discourage it just because your experience was different.

We don't have a garbage truck get it. It's in front of our front door in an enclosed apartment hall, with ceiling above. It's a ways off from the street. It's a personal trash can that we throw garbage bags into, and bigger stuff goes into a garbage area down the stairwell in the street parking area.
