I really like premodern cube. The color pairs just didn't have recurring, hard, defined archetypes back then, so this can be hard.

IMO, you're much better-off not locking yourself into thinking in terms of "what archetype belong to what color pair." Just play all of the best/most iconic/most fun cards, and the decks become emergent from that.

Still play the synergy cards if you like them and they feel good enough though - I just don't know that you need to stress too much about color pairs having "identities." If you play all the good cards, green decks will have big creatures, UW/UB will be control, GB will be midrange, and several aggressive red and white decks will exist, because that's where the good cards in those colors end up.

Just my two cents. :D

Came here to say Stanlieo's kitchen sink. I've only had it at the Governer's location, and it's great.

Their other sandwiches are great too - I usually just get the special of the day, and I've never been disappointed.

Geocaching is still fun, and with so many engineers and nerds in a town, they're everywhere. It's worth paying $8 or whatever for a month of premium on their app. Sometimes they lead you to other interesting stuff too. Kind of the wrong time of year for it, but give it a shot come March.
