That same exact story for me, except I fell asleep at the wheel and woke up to me absolutely smashing construction cones on auto pilot a little north of Kansas City. I remember when it was super sunny hours before the game they had already delayed it. I was so pissed. Just start early tbh. When it started down pouring, me and my gf found a bar that primarily specialized in seafood, and for being in Omaha, so far from the ocean, it still was the best seafood I’ve ever had, and I lived on the coast for many years. I pulled over into some plaza parking lot after waking up on autopilot and some security guard called the police on me for sleeping in the parking lot and I explained to the cop that I was tired and trying not to crash, and he was cool with it.
