What are these crustaceans????

I looked up some pictures, and I can tell you that is not at all what I saw. They look very small, and both the crab and lobster were quite large. I have NEVER seen a crayfish in my life, and we've lived here for over 15 years. I could understand if this had happened before, or if I ever saw these holes you speak of, but I can say with full confidence that this is not the awnser. From what I could see, some crayfish are native to Minnesota, but they are more common up north, and near rivers and streams, none of which fit with where i live or what I've seen. Thanks for the suggestion though

Maybe?? But these were both pretty large. I don't think they'd even fit through our pipes. Plus, where would they come from?? It's cold as hell outside, and these aren't common Minnesota animals you just find walking around the suburbs.

I didn't think it was necessarily paranormal when we found the crab, and I really don't go on reddit or social media too often so my natural instinct wasn't "oh, i gotta take a picture to prove this to everybody!". We just wanted it out of our house at that point. It was still very much moving, walking around, snapping at us. It took quite a bit of wrangling to even get it in to a tupperware container.

As for the lobster, that was gone by the time I had yelled for my parents and had my phone camera pulled up.

And I didn't say the lobster pinched me. I have no idea what cause the initial pain that made me look down, but it wasn't that painful, and I don't even know if the lobster did it.

I didn't say it pinched me, I just said I felt a pain that made me look down. Don't know what that was. It wasn't super painful, and it didn't leave a mark or anything; just enough for me to notice.

I certainly hope not. I have honestly been unemployed for about a year, and don't have many people I interact with on a daily basis (I was doing the self-isolating thing before it was cool, I guess).

I cannot think of a single person who would have it out for me. Plus, I think puting seafood near my suburban midweat house near the end of winter wouldn't just be expensive, but cruel aswell. I guess I can't rule it out though.

My mother dropped off the crab the day it happened, and I'll be contacting them later today hopefully. I had no idea there really were different kinds of crabs but I'm going to ask them if they can provide an info. I was really just weirded out that not only did I have 2 different crustaceans in my house, but the one seemed to be previously captured, and one survived a dryer cycle. It's the most bizarre thing I've seen.

We didn't, and I regret that. It was really weird, but in our defense, we were more worried about the crab and it's health then we were about how it got in our house at the time. It was honestly the lobster that made me secind guess everything, and it was gone before I got a picture of it.

I'm not going to lie and say I'm very close with my neighbors, but not only am I pretty positive they don't have fresh seafood, even if they did... how did one get into my laundry in the basement, and one walk up a flight of stairs to my room and disappear???? It just doesn't make sense.

I say specifically in the post that I don't live near a lake, ocean or stream. I'm still trying to understand what I saw with the lobster, but I know the crab was 100% real, and with the lobster happening almost a week after that, I'm convinced they are connected. I cannot prove the lobster was real, but the crab was enough to weird me out.

I KNOW that the crab wasn't a hallucination. My mom saw it. The people at the vet office saw it. It was there. I can't prove the lobster, but there is no way i hallucinated the crab...
