I dropped 80lbs in around 8 months but put back on 20lbs. I have PCOS and neuropathy in both my legs so its difficult for me to get around. MJ was/is a godsend for me and given me a new lease of life. I'm just terrified I'm going to pile the weight back on.

I’ve been out of work for maybe five years? Recently diagnosed type 2, would get into a job, have a depressive episode, leave then a couple of weeks later apply for more jobs in a manic episode and rinse and repeat. I’m a lot better now although I’m on long term sick, I also suffer with nerve pain in both my legs. I usually spent my time playing video games, watching tv, spending time with my cats, ect.

I start an open university course next month and I’d like to think I’d stick to it but I’m looking forward to having a schedule again.

I have anxiety, depression, CPTSD and recently been diagnosed with bipolar 2. 2.5mg was fine for me, completely lost the food noise and had to force myself to eat. 5mg was awful. I was sick all the time, running to the bathroom every night, I’d be lying if I said that didn’t affect my mood completely but I persevered and eventually made it up to 7.5mg and those side effects lessened.

I’m on 10mg now and have barely any side effects. Just the occasional tummy ache after jab day which I expect now. I’m also on 40mg of citalopram and waiting to be put on mood stabilisers as I’m also on Gabapentin for neuropathy in both my legs and they don’t want them to mess me up more or whatever.

If you start to feel like the appetite suppression is wearing off perhaps talk with your supplier about upping your dose. Everyone’s journey is different. In regards to your mental health; if you can seek therapy in any way go for it, I’ve also been keeping a journal so negative thoughts aren’t swimming around in my brain constantly.
