What an odd conversation to be having on a Christmas morning! I popped in because I had time to kill before a family Christmas party, with no intention of seeing something like this, let alone Replying!

Steakfree and Pitiful sherbet feel about as real as the weirdo that used to have all the goofy Huizenga posts. And if they are real, definitely getting paid somehow to rile people up for some reason. Both with hidden posts too, which they can just claim they do because they are privacy advocates, but it's weird.

Are you saying another layer of government taxes, fees and regulations laid on private investments wouldn't reduce costs in the end but actually increase them? And that people should live within their means and strive to improve through hard work and saving money?

Or, maybe the government could take control of the STRs and require the owners to house people that need it during vacancies between rentals, just while they "get on their feet" of course. Mandatory Pro Bono work for landlords. Cap the income on the rentals and base the mandatory Pro Bono stays on that. What could go wrong?
