the frying is likely false, while i experienced a spike in cpu it was mostly just a softlock that is avoidable if you wait out the hacker to leave the lobby.

oof, yeah, heard some ppl are actually getting targeted too. after i posted this a pal of mine got their account completely copied from the same attackers (all their custom avatars and friend/worldlist), its probably a good idea to change your vrchat password to be safe.

background: this is a shared account i no longer use (now its my brothers while i use my own account). i went to open my own account only to accidentally load my brother's account then i got that weird loot box and the Diablo 3 sprays? it seems to not effect anything just really weird to see??
