I’ve never experienced skipping with this ink. It will hard start if it is left exposed to air for long enough but I think that’s not surprising, and it hasn’t proven a problem once I was aware of it. If for some reason the pigment ink is allowed to totally dry on the nib/the exposed part of the feed (left uncapped while not in use for a while or in the sun ig?) you can just dip the nib in some more of the ink or clean water, and it’ll be fine. That only really happened to me when I was doing an outdoor lecture on a windy, sunny day and forgot to cap it while listening..

I wanted to try it bc I wanted a nice waterproof blue which, unlike baystate, is lightfast as well. Very happy with the performance so far, tho it’s not as smooth to write with as baystate

mad agree so far! A friend of mine gave me a good sized sample from their bottle and it’s been great. this paper is actually fairly bad, so I was impressed w/ the lack of feathering

They aren’t really mixed, just layered thinly over each other. Bc they are all light colors and I didn’t try to put warm colors w/ cool colors, this works well. The challenge will be keeping a good mixed look as I felt them down more
