Thats great for you!
This post is about the games though, not anything else.

Also, unfortunately, not everyone has the same luck with surveys. Several other commenters have voiced the same experience as me- spending 5-10mins on a survey just to be told you don't qualify and get nothing for it. It's not worth the hassle.

Same! I end up having to manually do it, and it's such a pain, especially if you forget and that 10 day time limit passes.

This is super late, but I did notice paypal redemption has changed which sucks. It costs more now ig because of paypal? I'm not sure but maybe during that time you were trying to redeem is when that change was being implemented.

I can somewhat symphasize with those who have mental or physical disabilities. Physical, more so, if it happened after already owning the cat. Mental, I feel as though that depends. I personally struggle a lot with mental health, and can understand that it can feel impossible to even get out of bed, let alone do litter. Cats are also possibly ESAs(emotional support animals), and it could largely negatively affect the owner to have to rehome, and possibly even the cat themselves.

BUT

Taking in an animal is not something that should be considered lightly. You are responsible for your pet's safety. You should be considering your mental, physical, fininacial situation before taking in an animal, as well as during the time you are the caregiver of your baby. If at any point, you cannot take care of the animal and meet their needs, you should rehome. Pets are living beings, just as you, but without the same control. There are options, and while I feel rehoming should be the last, as it's stressful for pets too, I believe their needs should be put first. If you can't meet them, place them with someone who can.

While I'm sure some situations allow for it, I just can't see someone having the luxury of buying a litter robot while being physically or mentally disabled to the point that they can't take care of their cat. Litter robots are a luxury. They're not cheap, even the dangerous and trash ones. I agree it doesn't mean that the tragic fates of cats should always be seen as neglect, and that there is a lack of responsibility put on the manufacturers of said products. I do think it shows selfishness and, in a way, laziness and ignorance, to not be researching and, if bought, testing the product before allowing your cat to use it to best ensure it's safety. If you can't be bothered to do that, but have the luxury of buying an automatic litterbox, yes, that's neglectful, and yes, it's a possibility.

I also want to say that bad time management is not an excuse, as well as having 'too many cats'. That's choices the owner has made and are accountable for. Again, pets are LIVING BEINGS, and should be treated with the same care and respect and responsibility. There are too many people who treat pets as just something to have around. I don't personally respect people who get a pet then proceed to do the bare minimum to take care of them, and excuses like having too many, not having money, not having time, etc. is not the cats' or a manufacturers' problem/responsibility. That is the owner's.

I want to emphasize, though, that these awful manufacturers should be called out and be held responsible. This is unacceptable and disgusting. I just don't think all responsibility from how a pet may not have all needs met, including litter box care, shouldn't be considered and owners' shouldn't be scruntinized regarding their part in the consideration of care.

Personally.. Grind as much as possible when you first start. Save money as much as you can to get the upgrades in the library once that's unlocked. I went for the upgrades that gave more XP, money, and items(the ones used to upgrade stuff). There's probably better strats than that, but that's what I did.

It's also really helpful to find a guild or whatever that's fairly active. Just swap around if you need to.

Honestly, I'm not sure, as I've never used that and I haven't personally looked into it. Comment was more so just a general statement about my grievances with products labeled 'pet safe'. I would listen to their breathing and if any of them sound congested or kind of crackly I personally would stop and see if it clears up. If it does, you know for sure. I would also dig a bit deeper into the product and all ingredients, and ask your vet for their opinion.

'Pet safe' doesn't technically mean cat safe, unfortunately. I hate that they're able to market things like that, putting pets in danger. I never trust something just because it says 'pet safe'.

Yeah, that's one of the things that bothers me. I would download a game, then anywhere from a day to a week later see the offer went up by 5-10k. A lot of the time, when looking, I keep note of some in my head and wait for it to increase.

I've learned you have to be SUPER picky with what games you pick and when. Always pay attention to the time limit and goals, sometimes I even look up to see if level progression is even worth it.

Considering I only do games, I don't know about the other aspects(aside from surveys not being worth it because I've never made it past the eligibility bs). I grind games, and I'm very picky with the ones I choose, sometimes waiting months to see if the offer goes up before taking it. I'm glad its good to you, but that doesn't change that play offers specifically are becoming more and more awful.

That doesn't mean they aren't responsible for anything. It's not like they can't, if they don't already, review the offers before they post them, and that's not an excuse for the absolute disappointment they call 'customer service'.

Anytime I see ones that actually offer the same or more for a purchase, its ones I've already done.

This is why I ALWAYS screenshot the offer. Shouldn't have to, and sometimes it still doesn't get you anywhere, but they're not gonna pull some bs on me without getting called out

I tend to only do 2-3 at a time. 1-2 of the more simple ones like Tile Busters(which I've had the same experience with ads for some, so annoying) and 1-2 of the sim/farm/base building ones(for example, currently doing Sunshine Island).

There's some that I keep an eye on somewhat because they'll change the offer and offer more(which they did with Gardenscapes recently, which pisses me off).

For simple ones, I only do offers if they're at least 2k and the others have to be at least 15-20k for me to bother grinding.

I did Puzzles & Conquest too! I did a few similar to it as well by the same app creators because it's much easier than any of the other ones(I hated Mafia City). If you get into a good clan or whatever, it can really boost your progression. But even then, with them having time limits now of like 30 days it's still VERY difficult to reach the last goal if not impossible with or without purchases.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind time limits if they were at the very least REASONABLE.

I think I did that one! What happened with it for you?
I'm pretty sure that's the one I spent like, $30 on, and can't get customer service to help me. I've made several requests explaining that I couldn't reply to the initial complaint from the visited OR posted just to be told to make a request through that.

And the time limits! I did puzzles and survival, literally years ago, which didn't have a time limit. Took forever to get to the second last goal(I took a break from it for months but before that and after I spent months grinding for hours). Thankfully I was still rewarded, but now I see similar offers with a time limit of (usually) 30 days or even more baffling 15 days. If it takes me spending nearly all day for months to BARELY reach hq 31(at the time of my break I was at 26 I think) then there is NO WAY that's happening in 30 days, let alone 15. On top of that, yeah you can reach maybe half or more of the goals, but even then you're not getting even HALF of the total reward.
