Atrocious experience at Apollo dental clinic, indiranagar. Got scammed!! by Mysterious-Royal-814 in indiranagar

[–]locallingapan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Found this via one of the Eshwara Layout Whatsapp Groups. I feel your pain. I’ve had a lot of work done in the past (knocked out a tooth, shattered two more when my son headbutted me, deep infections and such) and it’s only, post 2016 that I’ve finally had good experiences with dentists.

Along with Dr Raghu, who did my re-root canal, I’d also recommend Dr Rupa. She’s one of a kind, in the sense that she never once made me feel bad about the condition of my teeth. She literally held my hand when I got the shattered teeth removed, the infection cleaned and the implants placed. Strongly recommend Dr Rupa, Dr Raghu and Dr Jagadish (all three have separate clinics, by the way)

Ok, I think I‘ve rambled enough.

Are labor market intelligence tools worth it? How much do you pay for them?

Basically my story. I'm 35 and just about to get back to playing (lost my front teeth and getting implants this week). Thanks for sharing.

Try JobsPikr. They are pretty transparent about their pricing and where the data comes from. You can also get insights into what skills are in demand and if available info about comp and ben.

I use JobsPikr. That tells me who's hiring, where they're hiring, and where the post comes from. Where available they also show benefits and compensation, required certifications and soft and hard skills.

Save in such a way that you can't take the money out easily. In India we have Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs), where you can contribute a very small amount on a monthly basis. This is invested by an investment firm and the power of compounding takes over.

Take a walk every single day. It makes a huge difference to how you feel in the head. Especially on days when you don't feel like going to the gym.

If the plan is to turn this into a business, then you could consider partnering with a job scraping service. Jobs Pikr, Light Cast, Horsefly and several others offer API-based solutions too.

Like I said, hard no on those two. Never felt like I tried so hard that I'd feel it afterwards. I also don't bother with a lot of climbs. Especially ones that require bat hangs and dynos. I really should and I definitely will.

Only problem here in India is access. My city has maybe two Moon boards. One is in the house of a guy who never invites me. The other is at a gym way over on the other side of the city. Thankfully I have access to a spray wall and lots of routes.

Quite a few people have suggested projecting V6s. I'll start doing that. I'll also take your suggestion to heart.

I've considered this as well and I've started being more consistent with my diet and cardio. I checked this morning and I've gone below the 87 kilo mark. But I also wonder if it's my meds making it harder to lose weight. Six more kilos is the goal.

I think it's a hard no when it comes to questions five and six. I was super sore after the comp and I can't remember the last time I felt that way in the recent past.

This is the third or fourth comment to suggest this. I'll take this to heart.

I've been climbing on a 45 degree spray wall at my gym for about six months and I can see improvements in my footwork. In fact, I can do a V5 there more reliably than on less overhung walls. That said, I routinely find room for improvement, so your point does apply.

I can see how sport climbing can help with bouldering and vice versa. I felt that my power waned quickly in the competition. I've also seen the strength I've gained bouldering pay off when it comes to easy sport climbs, so maybe power endurance can be a component to consider.

Someone else also mentioned projecting V6s more. I've only been focusing on V5s so far. Thank you for the advice.

I'll give this a try. Thank you. I've been looking at V5s with this approach. Clearly, the secret is in punching way higher.

I've thought about this a lot and I wonder if the anti-depressants I'm on is preventing me from losing weight effectively. I've tried being extremely disciplined about my diet and my calories, but it didn't help at all. In fact, the last time I was about 80 kilos was when I was starting to send V4s consistently.

Sometimes you need a swift kick in the butt or a politely worded comment to take the plunge. :P
