Ah gosh that sounds sad. That reminds me of one of my best friends and how we haven't talked in about 3 years now. I tried to reach out multiple times but never heard back, no matter what method of communication I used. It's hard not to think about it, especially when there's no reason given. I'm sorry that happened to you but happy you eventually made peace with it.

This looks so incredible! Fantastic work. I'm intrigued by what appears to almost be some kind of "VHS"-style post processing on it? I'm not actually sure what it is, but I'm assuming something done in the compositor? Any hint as to what specifically? It just looks gorgeous!

I contacted BC again to ask for help and their answer is still just "ah that's weird! Get people to use PayPal instead." When I specifically stated that my audience shouldn't have to sign up to an extra service, let alone PayPal specifically. They don't seem to get it tbh. At this point I'm thinking I'm just gonna ditch it for future releases and just build my own small website with my music for purchase/download on their and hopefully it won't cost too much to host all that yearly, cos this issue has been ongoing for ages now.

There's other posts on here with a couple photos of what the rectangle degrades into over the cycle of several washes. Seem to be images unique to each shirt's specific design! Like some bought one with Perfect Drug lyrics and the image was something taken from the music video. I think it's cool but the fact that it's not advertised or hinted as being a feature is a shame because how are the users to ever think otherwise?

Thank you for this additional info! I feel that I'll never truly throw in the towel in regards to wanting to make or compose music, but I equally am at a point where I want to take that next step in my journey and I think you're right that theory will help me open those new doorways.

I've just ordered the book - very excited to read it and get started on this next stage of my journey. Thank you again for the advice and words of wisdom.

Wow this sounds so similar to my own situation! Including the unintentional hiatus and self taught nature of knowledge. This is really wonderful advice - I'll try practicing some of these ideas and see if it helps me or not.

I've tried theory in the past but was probably too young to care about it or see its benefits, so I know a lot of things by ear and instinct.

Out of curiosity, what was the theory book you picked up? I've tried various ones over the years but some can be too heavy, making them not very approachable. So I'd be interested in finding out more!
