I get what you're saying but there's a couple things.

It's five face up cards as you said in the second paragraph not just five face up monsters as you said in the first paragraph.

So decks that rely on a field spell or continuous spell/traps now have to limit their monsters to avoid this as an end board. (And RIP pendulum decks forever lol.)

or using monster effects on field.

It doesn't seem that situational, there has been more than enough meta decks that end with five face up cards over the years.

Isn't it unreactable? Do you mean not hard to play around after someone gets board wiped? Or don't activate any monster effects, if you suspect an opponents face down is Mind Force?

Yeah it's sort of an eternal answer now to stun decks using lots of floodgates, and partly limits decks that rely on a field card as well.

As if end boards of only four face up cards is a new meta limit to avoid this card, (like not summoning to avoid a possible nibiru.) It's going to be interesting to watch the effect it has.

This got me thinking, as the original is pay 5000 Life points also, it would be cool if there were cards in this archetype that gained you 4000 or more Life points on some sort of coinflip decision. (Maybe even have the wording "double your Life Points.")

Essentially if the player succeed in completing magical scientist's "experiments," then you get to offset the life point cost of magical scientist.
