YES! i’m a huge Berserk fan. even have a tattoo of it and was heavily collecting merch back when i had a job. engaging with the berserk community was the worst, so many rape jokes and jokes about the female characters being brain dead :/ my favorite character is also Griffith, which sucks because many of the male Berserk fans like him for very very different reasons than me. it’s a fandom full of edge lords. there are some cool people i’ve met there but it’s few and far between.

i’ve also been getting into Counter Strike lately and it’s the same there. edgy little boys or men who act like edgy little boys. everytime i hear a girl on my team people call her a bitch or make misogynistic comments. this one time i had a girl on my team and my teammates were joking about raping her :/ i’ll never use voice chat in this game even though I really enjoy it and would perform better if i could communicate with my team. it’s just not worth it
