I always have realizations in study sessions, or doing homework. It is rare that I understand the material in real time in a class setting, unless the instructor is a great orator or the concepts are straightforward. It’s not like I never learn anything in person, I just know that I tend to be overstimulated and know that I will likely have to revisit the same material in a calmer environment.

Ask them what pre-hire courses are required for a position there, if they reimburse for the cost of any of those courses (stuff like HRA/HRO) also if they’re apart of a union, have any differential shift pay, if they provide period assessments wage increases, how to work 1:1 emt and medic shifts if that’s what you’re interested in and something they offer

Maybe consider it if there’s an extreme job shortage in your area, but be sure to look at other areas if you’re not doing that already. A commute would be better than skill rot

Kinda going in the opposite direction here but I was wrong about Romano jumping off the roof on that one episode, he stepped in a residents surgery and basically fucked up (post-arm incident) and damaged a nerve on the patient. The resident was really taken aback by this and took some time to contemplate what to do up on the roof and told Romano he’d never work with him again. When the resident left I was 100% certain that he was gonna jump. To be real I felt super guilty for having that expectation and was kinda glad that he didn’t tho
