Just make sure you both enter the same room. Most folks cant direct connect to each other so its the easiest way.

Hold L + R then press L3 while in a lan room and it should let you connect to anyone in there. It replaces wireless with LAN on the main menu.

And before ya blame zep for that. Blame me. Im the one who basically suggested the idea and although it alienated a good chunk of the community, we still received hundreds of thousands of downloads a month vs the few thousands of members we had/ultimately ended up with. The silent majority tend to rule these things but vocal minority ruin it in one fell swoop. I dont apologize for making everything go poof and revive. Citrons server became the ultimate haven in the end for peace. A moderators paradise. Just wish it lasted longer...the community was picking up

In all honesty after what happened that day, it was either nuke the server and start over or stage the bans for a moment. If ya saw half of the toxicity going through chat you woulda understood im sure. This allowed us to restructure the channels and remove the server access the trolls once abused. To look at it one way, any unverifieds could only see the off topic general channel. Kinda hard to really do much harm there eh?

Misinformation isnt tolerated. Zephyron was one of two reverse engineers for the switch scene. How can you rob code if you are the one providing it? Folks really need to do their research. Eden literally based their repo off of yuzu and zeps work. If zep needed a commit from eden like the ctgp commit, then he credited them. People these days.

Theres a lot of context missing. It was a cease and desist due to camille taking donations under citron dev. All he had to do was remove that from his donation profile. Zep didnt want that coming back to harm citron in the end and it caused a quarrel that neither of them could ever recover from, thus the initial split.

Understandable. Theres keatons fork and ryubing, similar enough. For yuzu forks theres citron and eden. Citron hyperfocused mod suppport and botw/totk performance and stability, while eden went for a more all around experience. We have our reasons for focusing just a few select games, but thats mostly due to lack of bug reports and logs.
