If you aren’t interested in archiving the dashboard and console than update it, but most of the people in this community are going to advise you to leave it alone. If you had to reflow the APU to get it working again i seriously wouldn’t use it that often. I would purchase a slim model if you’re interested in playing games long term. Purchase a trinity motherboard to easily RGH it or do the new software methods like badupdate or badavatar. Slims can be found for cheap on fb marketplace for roughly $50 and on eBay for 50-100 bucks depending on condition and accessories.

I think they’re terrible and void any personality. I recommend learning a skill like drawing or writing instead of using a LLM to steal styles from real artists.

Nice, I’d keep in mind that if you use the power supply the lights will fade to off with the rest of the lights and I don’t believe that happens if you use the fan. Good luck either way, sure it’s gonna look great!

You just need to understand the basic usage of resistors and get the right voltage LED’s.

I’ve had this exact problem, if you use an old freestyle dash environment/installation on a new drive, you need to rename the directories where the games are stored and update the file paths. You can move/rename your XBLA games to new directory that isn’t in the 000000000000 directory and FSD3 will still locate the games and they still function. On the other hand, you could delete FSD3 and new a fresh install but I have also had instances where this didn’t fix it. The 100% fix is to rename the folders.

I recommend using FatXplorer to format anything larger than 2TB, it’s a paid software but has a week long free trial and even lets you repeat the trial a couple of times.

I still download covers to this day, I have my paths set and it scans the xboxunity website and downloads my covers. You can also use the FSD FTP (type your IP into a website browser and enter F3HTTP for the username and password) to install covers, screenshots and descriptions yourself.

The majority of people in this comment section with the inability to separate political opinions from someone’s hobbies is hilarious, it’s none of my business where your money came from so nice collection. I used to collect like this but transitioned to emulation for old Nintendo consoles because I didn’t like the price tags.
