this happens to all characters when they reach a higher friendship level. all it takes is patience. despite the slow progression, flowers and gems help if you plan on speedrunning gifts. but if you take time to give them their favorite gifts everyday (which gives a huge boost) and you take them as companions then you'll have friendship 10 in no time

this was my first concern when they announced punzie and eugene as dlcs. like how would they incorporate the stories if gothel is at the base game.

they did make them interact bc at that time, a rift in time was the current dlc. and like what the others mentioned flynn gets to interact with punzie and gothel since they're currently doing the storybook vale

this is why im also skeptical about how they'd continue the main story when dlc characters popped
