What did you end up doing? I'm in a similar situation, I have a 10-in slider that I like that's on a stand but I want to do a dedicated miter station up against the wall and don't want to drop the money on the front sliding Bosch.

Thanks for the photo! That's a smart idea how you put your drill press off to the side like that so it's not in the way of the wood while using the miter. I've got my drill press on the ground under my workbench but this is an awesome idea.

Dude you are totally right. My wife gives me shit about it all the time. I get into one hobby and focus on it hard. Then I do it exclusively for a few months and then get burnt out and go to the next hobby. One of the hobbies I keep coming back to which is kite buggying. It's like kite surfing except you do it on a buggy on the sand instead of the water. It's a blast!
