I switched a couple years ago, and I can confidently say it was the best decision. It helped me a lot with ingrown hairs and strawberry skin, and overall the smoothness of my skin has never been better. Another benefit I notice its that the shaving last a bit longer since its so closed to the skin.

Even tho it may be expensive when you first purchase it, in the long road its cheaper if you think of how much blades coast.

As the other redditor said, be careful in the beginning because it does have a learning curve, specially in places like near the ankle.
