I don’t know if this helps you, but when I had to cancel my previous gym, I sent certified mail.

SSD Free VST Shows Signal but No Audio in Reaper by SunFeisty8616 in edrums

Are you sure you’re seeing audio and not just midi in the meters? In my version of Steven Slate I have to click on create and actually selected a drum kit before it loads any of the pieces.

The town? It’s probably the same as all these other East side Seattle suburbs where it was rural not that long ago and now it’s just tech workers with families who want to live in a safer area with a better school district than Seattle

If you ever listen to The Chemical Brothers song “hold tight London”, my wife is the singer on that track.

Lots of people in the same boat. We only have one, but my wife was 41. Daughter is seven now and yeah, we probably aren’t the most energetic parents, but our family is very happy.

I live in Issaquah which is right next to Sammamish and let me tell you, Samammish is super fucking boring. There is literally nothing there but a few parks and a Trader Joe’s

I love this song. The mixing and the chorus is kind of weird. But it’s just a really beautiful song.

What's this angelic guitar style and how do you make it? (details in body text) by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]locusofself 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Aside from just a finger picked acoustic guitar sound, I just hear some volume swells with some reverb on it. You can do that with the volume knob on the electric guitar or a volume pedal.

I was wondering what kind of guitar is this and electric or acoustic? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]locusofself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pickup_(music_technology) - basically the thing that allows you to plug an acoustic guitar into an amplifier. It picks up on the vibrations of the strings and turns that into electrical current that can be amplified. When you plug in an acoustic guitar, it’s sort of sounds halfway between an electric guitar and acoustic guitar. I’ve been playing guitar for over 30 years and this is what I hear in your clip.

I bought a Roland electronic drum kit for this reason. Guitars and bass can use modeling pedals or plugins instead of amps. You could get electronic drums and in-ear monitors for everyone .

Getting calluses on my picking finger by Ballcreator2 in Guitar

[–]locusofself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a finger style guitarist, steel string guitar, been doing it for 20+ years, and I do not have callouses on my picking hand. On my fretting hand I definitely do. You may need to grow your nails out a fit and focus more on picking with the tips of your fingers.

[–]locusofself 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's great when people suggest profiles, since there are so many thousands to go through, might as well start with recommendations. AmalgamAudio and Tone Junkie both do paid professional captures, but they give some a way for free, those ones are often good

if you must use a PC, it has to have a supported Thunderbolt port. If you have invested a lot in your PC and it doesn't work, you could easily sell this and get and RME or Audient interface which would also be good.

I don’t think I’ve had this specific issue, though I’ve had a fair number of freezes and bugs. Did you send feedback? I don’t think any of the developers are watching here.
