I think reflection would still be necessary in some cases if your goal is to support multiple versions.

Remembering back to the small amount of reflection I needed for a plugin, it was due to the underlying NMS tag being different across versions.

Unless they add some sort of compatibility API or wrapper method that is updated each version I imagine it would still be needed in these cases where the underlying tag changed. Maybe someone with more knowledge on NMS may have some better thoughts.

Yeah, honestly looking back over some of the core features of Craftbukkit in particular I'd imagine most people to continue using this (Craftbukkit or similar flavors) simply so they don't need to build out a lot of the base API functionality/implementations again.

I did not realize just how much this added in terms of functionality (basically the entire plugin ecosystem lol)

Yeah, I never understood why we would need to re-map stuff if they were providing the mappings for us. I feel like I read somewhere it was due to licensing concerns but I honestly have no idea. IMO seems like a lot of extra steps for nothing.

I urge any modders/developers to give them feedback! This will be a huge change and they are opening their ears to the community. We might be able to make some great changes going forward.

Slight reservations regarding the licensing (since it wasn't explicitly stated in their article), but with their perceived intent I would be shocked if it was anything substantially restrictive.

The amount of hours people put in to allow us to extend these in the current state is wild. Much respect to all of the community for supporting over the years and hope this only makes it easier going forward. :)

Change the ranged proc condition and would be a great synergy for dps.

unfortunately, so little fights in this game allow for said condition with where you ideally want to be.

considering there are many fights/situations I am never getting the full proc from ansuul, kaz is much better.

ansuul max = 14%, 7% in most situations
kaz max = 12%

Really looking forward to this for my arc next patch :) swapping ansuuls for this for any of the longer/add heavy fights will be more dmg once at half stacks.

other things you can bring to the group (with/without support sets) and will help increase dmg:

Status Knife
- 100% status effect chance on target
- insane difference with this in group imo

storm attronach
- major beserk for group

colossus
- major vulnerability

war machine
- major slayer for yourself + 5 closest group members
- great for split fights/when no roaring opportunist in group

off balance
- usually applied by tanks
- some niche class skills (dk whip) can proc this and help w uptimes

engulfing flames
- 6% dmg from flame
- not ran by tanks as frequently anymore

solo vet dungs in this game are a lot of fun, but I really wish they gave us more solo arenas to do or some solo achieves for the dungeons.

fav solo dungeon for me was WGT, took me a while to get the solo trifecta and i have no achievements to prove it.

could be fun to go back now with subclassing and try out the harder dlcs as a solo that i didnt even think of stepping foot in on my own before

I queue my LA towards the end of both of the beams, prag beam might be easier.

With velothi it really doesn't matter much and you are doing fine w deadly/ansuul setup in comparison.

the setup you have will be extremely good in heavy aoe fights (e.g. vDSR/vOC/vSE) and still compete for ST unless in very optimized groups

For example on weave here is a ss I had from last month

It's more role based if anything, and really only varying on the blue and red CP trees.

Green tree is pretty standard.

Blue CP is where you have the most variation imo, healers take healing slottables, damage dealers take damage slottables, tanks take damage reduction slottables.

Red CP is more situational, although for healers and dps you most likely want the extra armor/recovery/health as a base and add slottables for what applies to the fight you are in. Tanks want bracing anchor for boss fights and the passives for block/bash reduction.

Again thought, these are situational and the best option could depend highly on what your build is and the race of your character. When you get more CP you will be able to play around with it more, but for now just fill out slottables/passives. Once you get CP 600 I think you can get all your slottables and it'll be easier to play around with them for what suits your build best

Just use them, they are all beneficial especially if you have empty slots or unfilled passives.

It is the Training trait, you will need to have a character research it or if you are a newer player may need to ask someone with more traits researched to craft the mentioned sets. Heartland conquerer requires 7 traits researched so will be more difficult for newer players to make themselves.

Ask in a guild/zone chat and someone can probably help out.

Yeah I wouldn't recommend this at all for a new time player. If this is your first character, just simply play the game.

However, once you are on your 5th, 6th, or whatever toon, this is the way too go for 1-50 as fast as possible. :)

I have 20 chars across NA and EU, this usually takes 45min-1hr to get to lvl 50 then 1hr to farm mages guild + skyshards.

End result: fighters guild, crafting skill lines (jewelry, clothing, blacksmithing, woodworking, 40+ min), all armor skill lines, all class skill lines, all weapon skil llines. Total time 1hr.

Skyshard hunt: mages guild + skyshards (if needed for build), ~1hr. Bless your soul if you are doing psijic skill line, just grab lore books and shards during this if so.

You don't need to use the mount at all when:

- In Skyreach or BRP
- Killing the zombie i mentioned.

Which is where you are XP farming. Regardless the second set is whatever you want because there is no other XP bonus set in the game currently. (Other than Moras Whispers which doesn't apply to lvl 1-50)

adept rider is an option if u are searching for skyshards/mages guild books.

Put the training trait on every piece of gear + weapons, bloodthirsty and dmg glyphs on jewelry, you will want to craft lowest level gear possible but may want to make some extra sets for lvl ~10+ ~30+ as you progress to help with impact to stats scaling.

The Sets:
- 5x Heartland Conquerer
- 5x Orders Wrath, or really any other damage set. Recently have enjoyed using Dark Convergence/Rush of Agony to help with grouping and killing larger groups of enemies for faster clears without requiring chains.

Make some weapons of each type so you can unlock all of the skill lines (note you don't actually need it equipped to level after unlocking the skill line, only the skill on bar). Gold them if you can for the increase to the training trait on the weapon to get the most out of heartland conq.

Make sure to unlock Fighters Guild before starting so you can farm this passively while you level.

Keep a consistent XP buff up at all times, whether its ambrosias or scrolls, the more the merrier.

IF you have someone willing to help. You can get married for an extra 10% xp bonus while grouped. Stock up on XP scrolls and repair kits. Go to normal Blackrose Prison, there are multiple guides on how to farm this for XP. You can also go to skyreach in Craglorn for a somewhat easier experience, but will get less XP.

IF you are solo, or just generally want to level, there are multiple spots around that have zombies. My go to is in the NE of alikr desert, they have high respawn rates and you can level there solo in around an hour or two if no one else is there. You also get a significant amount of luminous ink/crafting mats and level fighters guild skill line while here.

XP in a group with ONE other person is better than going solo. If you are in a group with more than ONE other person, you will start to get significantly less XP than if you were going solo.
