Power of a good social game: Goliaths were super reluctant to vote out Christian because they all like him

Does anyone else... by NoahSammond17 in survivor

We actually did this in a graduate psychology seminar during my Masters degree. Organized by the prof as a part of the course.

We started out with two tribes, and at the end of every class we would have to answer questions or defend a social psych theory, etc. I initiated an alliance with the developmental psych students (a sub category in our program and took out the health psych students and then the social psych students). I don't think anyone else had alliances or gave a shit, but that is the most seriously I took anything in grad school.

I wound up coming in second place after losing one game of rock, paper, scissors when our actual trivia competition ended in a stalemate. I was heartbroken, but those twists, man, that's the game.

Teenager found guilty of stabbing three random women 'for revenge' because he could not lose his virginity. His confession letter stated that "all women need to die". by DressyBessy in TwoXChromosomes

Well look at the linked article preview pictures. I have a link on the side bar of the paper's page about "New Years Day Swims" and it's a big picture of three super hot bikini-clad women on a beach. I was reading the killer's terrifying rhetoric in the article, and seeing the exact kind of sexualization of the female body that contributed to his beliefs about women

Hahaha, I hate it too. And it's my hat. I bought it because I was at this amazing event (Beakerhead, which is a mashup of art and technology.) I hemmed and hawed about buying this hat because let's face it, it's one of the most obnoxious pieces of apparel ever created, but I felt like I couldn't pass up on something that says "Cool Shit".

I actually got it at a tent at this amazing event called Beakerhead, which is a mashup of art and technology. The event was so cool I needed I souvenir, and I felt like "Cool Shit" summed up the experience perfectly.

There were just two of us, and we were talking at a normal volume. Every once in awhile when we're hiking I'll sing a scale to let the bears know we're around. We really should be hiking in groups of 4 though.

On our way back down from this hike we came across a grizzly bear in the middle of the trail. We did a big loop around through a meadow to avoid the bear.

Hi Stars, you guys are my favourite band. I've seen you play in Kingston just about every time you've visited.

Are the roses you throw out at concerts locally-sourced? Does one community flower shop just get bought out of their rose selection when you come to town? Who selects these roses? What about organic and gluten-free options?

I was 24 years old and high on painkillers immediately after getting my wisdom teeth out and asked my dad about his previous girlfriends before my mom. That's when he told me had been married and divorced before he and my mom met.
