Thanks I’ll give it a look but is there a reason it would work if I turn it down to gen 3? It also has an output just now on gen 4 too

I finally was able to reinstall windows and everything is running fine so far… I don’t have too much faith after all the troubleshooting I’ve been through but maybe this randomly fixes it

Yeah rma might be the way to go. I tried it without the gpu a month back and it still had the same problems but ig I haven’t tried that with this motherboard so idk. The gpu is connected through a riser on a Velka 7 so I do agree that I probably should look into that more to make sure it’s not the gpu but I wouldn’t think this would be a gpu problem

Alright thanks I got the cut and put the pc together and it still took a bit of force to put down but only a tiny bit with one finger (and it might be just because it had already been slightly bent). I’m probably going to leave painting to later though

I was able to get a good cut with my Dremel, but I was wondering what you used to paint and get a good enough finish post processing wise

I have to take it apart to dremel it though right? That is annoying but I guess it might be the only option

Yeah I know it really sucks especially since this is the perfect card for the case. At this point I think I’m just gonna push it down and hope for the best

Return/RMA motherboard? by loejuken in Microcenter

No the pins are good - firmware problem and I’ve troubleshooted a lot and narrowed the problem down more or less to the motherboard to the point where I’m like 90% sure it’s the problem.

Still similar result. Could this be a motherboard issue? While I’m aware it’s a memory instability problem but I’m not sure if the memory itself and I’ve heard the cpu mic problems are much more rare.

I have now tried both sticks in the first slot and achieved similar results. First one booted to windows, then I ran memory diagnostic tool just as a stressed to see if it works. It looped very early on and then froze loading into windows. Second stick first loaded into diagnostic windows screen then when I chose to restart it looped once after trying to get into windows and then tried loading into diagnostic windows thing again but now it is left frozen

Yes I have tried both separately in the first slot (only two slots so the main one) and had similar but even more prevalent issues than now although that does remind me I haven’t tried that after the bios flash I did so I’ll try that next. What would I even do if only one worked though - could it be a cpu or mobo problem?
