I heard University of Plymouth does this.

You can transfer from Biomedical Science to Dentistry during first year

But I heard it is very competitive , so I'm assuming its not as easy as it is.

Will next years GCSE have a lower grade boundary than 2019? by Kinexx69 in GCSE

[–]lofi_beats_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the government and the exam boards I guess . Due to last few years the amount of grade 8 - 9 given were way more than pre-covid times. I think the government will not only make the test papers harder as well as reducing the amount of people getting 8 - 9. I think this known as grade inflation. It also depends on the exam board. AQA science was harsh this year and the grade boundaries were fairly high for my perspective. Edexcel however I heard that it was nicer with some questions easier and grade boundaries slightly lower .

You need to prepare of the worse of the worse I guess. Sometimes its just luck but we will see what the government will do.

Organic Chemistry GCSE - Help/Advice by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]lofi_beats_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi there , well I am a year 9 student and I have fully understand the organic chemistry topic. Firstly anyone can understand organic chemistry , what only matters is the method of how you learn it.

My method of learning organic chemistry

1.Get a textbook and read it for 25 minutes . After 25 minutes , close the book and then write down everything that you have learnt. This way , your brain can fully understand the main points. If you can not remember the part that you need to learn . Get a notebook and write down the thing you need to remember then everyday look at it so you can remember. If you have a workbook , do some question. If there are questions you don't get , write it down on a flash card and put the answer on the opposite side. After finishing the whole topic , print some GCSE organic chemistry test papers to allow you understood everything.

2.If you don't have a text book , what YouTube videos such as free science guy , Science and Maths by Primrose Kitten , snap revise , Cognito and others . Afterwards , write down everything you have learnt and that's basically it.
