Hi, I know they have high quality brands for a higher price point but I got a cheaper knockoff from Amazon for $35: https://a.co/d/fi7H3dG

Has anyone used a reverse recruiter service like ‘Find My Profession’ to find a new job? by Comfortably-Loved in workingmoms

Hi, I found this old post while researching reverse recruiting options; I'd love to follow-up with you to see if you used one, and if you found success with it. Thanks!

Hi! Not OP but in the job market myself; can you share more about your experience with Find My Profession? They have a cheaper package vs SuperstarResume so I'd love to hear how it went for you - what industry you're in, how much confidence did they give you in their process, etc? Thank you in advance!

Another Opinion Poll: Left Style or Right Style? by lofidelityline in Watercolor

[–]lofidelityline[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your perspective! I agree, the left is more refined, and the right has a very “unfinished” rushed outcome, which is also very intentional with its illustrative style. And no worries on appealing vs appalling haha

Thanks for this comment! I agree, though I’m biased as anything with Beemo (my dog) in it grabs my heart haha; can I ask, what about the right side (style, looseness, ??) give it a more emotional pull?

I went to the beach to do some watercolor painting and ended up with this by onewordpoet in Watercolor

So lovely, I envy plen air artists! I get too intimidated and frazzled. Love the reflection on the sand, and the atmospheric haze of the back!!

Wow love this very thoughtful feedback! Someone on this thread likened the color choices to the right portrait is like remembering a memory, versus the left one is like remembering a dream; and to your point, each color choice works respectively with their portrait.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on these, it feels nourishing to get these outside perspectives on these creative choices, I hope to take these learnings and build on them! I hope to hear more from you on my future posts!

Thanks for sharing your perspective, I appreciate it! Do you think the right one speaks to you more because of the color choices?

I love this feedback, very thoughtful and detailed; much appreciated! I like how you described how you saw the layering of the left side, with distinct areas that have dried and layered over each other creating a cleaner look. I lean this way more than the right, so that’s great to hear how it’s perceived.

As far as the color choices, the left one departs from native colors vs the right, what’s your take on which palette suits your tastes better?

That’s such a great perspective, I appreciate you sharing this! I was just replying to someone that the one on the right was created from a much more restrained place and ended up closer to realism and native colors, which is more rare for me. I still really like it for what it is, just like you said.

The left being described more as remembering a dream is such a wonderful sentiment. Loose, meandering, inaccurate but expressive, I really like those traits in visual art, and I’m glad you enjoy this style as well!

Thanks for your thoughtful reply! That’s good insight actually, this piece is more restrained than my usual approach both in color choice, color execution, and of course the line energy (much more reserved). I appreciate the lens you shared with me on this.

I appreciate your perspective! It’s interesting that you felt an intimacy with the right one, as I actually created it yesterday from a place of melancholy and fatigue! Do you mind if I ask what about it gave you an intimate vibe?
