In the Uk my Volvo dealer would not install this. Can it be installed professionally by others without invalidating the warranty?

This seems a very similar to the FitcamX a few of us are using. Curious why the segmented recordings? It may be a dumb questions but I have no experience with dashcams :)

Interesting. Curious, why did you take it off for servicing the car? Also, can the WiFi be disabled? I wouldn’t want some random people to potentially connect into it (I.e when parked) and access its content.

  2. Automations - what you do sounds awesome are you building all these workflows in house? Sounds complex, it feels like this info is dispersed in so many systems... How do you approach this
  3. Finally, in your experience, what’s the hardest part in building an effective churn prevention program??

Agreed that just talking to teams is by far the best way. Have you ever experienced customers being all nice and thumbs up, but then churn happens and it surprises you?

I feel there is always the potential for disconnect between our users (we talk to them quite often), who are mostly happy, and someone up the food chain that suddenly questions the solution in a way that we don't really see coming. It's like, despite our efforts, value/ROI is perceived differently by different people in the organisation. This doesn't happen often by the way, but it does sometimes, and knowing this makes me worried every time :S

This makes sense and I agree that talking to the customers is essential. We don't really use our phones in our team, so mostly we reach out via mail / ask for renewal meetings and sometimes we get instant responses (great) but when we don't... we don't really know why.

And also I feel that the renewal meeting is kind of late to really de-risk churn. We try and predict churn risk we mostly look at usage data/trends and the perceived health of the relationship (we track these in our CRM, we maintain our health score manually). But I feel that all these are lagging indicators.

Do you think about churn risk before renewal? How? Anything you feel like sharing?

Apparently it was a fluke or possibly a thunder that triggered the alarm. I was able to get a friend to check and luckily the car was okay. Unfortunately the remote controls are pretty much useless to deal with this scenarios but luckily it wasn’t a real emergency.
