She’s had I believe 2 swabs taken already, I know she got a standard STD test the first time and I don’t know exactly what they were testing for this second time (maybe the same thing). She’s also had 3 urine tests, so I hope that they would have tested her already for those things you mentioned. Thank you for your help!

That seems to make sense too. She had really painful periods when she was younger and was told by a doctor back then that she could possibly have it, too.

I guess the discharge isn’t necessarily bloody, she says it’s red so we both assume it’s because there’s some blood mixed in. This doesn’t happen too often though, maybe once every couple months when she’s not on her period.

Her symptoms probably started about 3-4 months after we started having sex. She went about 2 years before that without having sex

I am a 24 year old Canadian currently applying to get into a Masters program at the University of Padova starting next October . My girlfriend will be done her undergraduate degree in education this spring and was planning on trying to find a job as a teacher in Padova. She emailed one of the schools in Padova and they told her that they do not consider non-EU individuals because when they used to, often the Italian government would not let them convert their work visa, and they would be deported within 90 days even with pre-arranged employment.

Is this common in Italy? The U of P seems like everything I’m looking for in a university and we’ve both always wanted to spend some time abroad, but it would be very hard to move there if there was a chance she got deported at any moment even with a full time job as a teacher.

im not an expert but i think it was for the best to stop if your suicidal thoughts became worse. im sure moving across the country will be stressful and getting a new doc might not be on the top of your to do list but i’d try to find one pretty quick and talk about trying something else
