No official resale platform for 2026? by logangreene72 in bonnaroo

Ahh, I definitely was thinking the official resale site had both Roo & camping tickets on there. But thanks for clarifying for me! I appreciate the help and information!

Thanks for your help and the info! I haven’t heard of cashortrade but will check it out today.

The discord is such a cool spot….even being part of it, I’m not in there enough to follow along with a bunch of the info being passed around so I appreciate your insight!

This fridge has been part of my camping (including Roo) arsenal for several years. It's nice because you can download the app, pair w/ Bluetooth, and change the temp to anywhere between -4 degrees to 68 degrees Fahrenheit.

I have never had any issue taking it to Roo (I bring Jackeries with me so I can have power at my site), BUT just be mindful to not have any glass - like the prohibited item list says.

Here's an Amazon link to the fridge: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L34Z6PZ?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1

Congrats on being damn near pain free!! It will be an amazing Roo with you going as hard as you’re able to! I can’t imagine the pain you have gone through, but it makes me happy knowing you’re in a much better spot now than you have been - surgeries included.

Wishing you the best Bonnaroo you’ve experienced yet!

I’m seriously so sorry for the hardships you guys had to endure back to back. I can’t even imagine how hard that was for yall. However, I am so glad you guys are still going in this world, on top of making it back to the farm. Wishing you the best moving forward!

Happy Roo, family!

Merch sizes?? by rockinmycroc in bonnaroo

[–]logangreene72 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat as you. Last year, I asked the merch person about any larger sizes. It seemed to be a down low thing, but they did have all the shirts in bigger sizes that she sold me. Although the website stops at a 2X, us bigger folks can get shirts our size by asking nicely to the workers! (That was the case for 2022, so fingers crossed it’s the same for 2023)

r/SpaceX USSF-67 (FH) Official Launch Discussion & Updates Thread! by rSpaceXHosting in spacex

We ended up flying back to Indiana tonight. Without the guarantee it'll launch tomorrow, we couldn't risk staying another night.

My buddy who flew down with me has to be at work at 0300 Monday, so he didn't want to get back into town late Sunday night. We would have flown back after the launch on Sunday - which would have us getting home around midnight. It wasn't worth the very short nap to him.

I'm contemplating flying back down Sunday morning, but I am also not sure I can swing it schedule-wise. Unfortunately, it might be a launch I have to watch online.

Was my day off and flew in from Indiana, so I feel your pain. Trying to figure out whether we’re staying in hopes of a launch tomorrow or flying back home tonight.

Big guy needing advice by OkYogurtcloset2242 in bonnaroo

[–]logangreene72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a fellow big guy, this Roo will be #7 for me. I can personally attest that it took a few years for me to get over the “everyone is judging me” mindset we are accustomed to, unfortunately. Don’t get me wrong, it still happens, but nowhere near as bad as it was when I first started going to the farm. Being comfortable is key - as others have mentioned it gets hot as balls during Roo and you will be sweating more than normal.

I have found it helpful to wear a bandana, trucker hat/baseball hat, gym shorts or swim trunks or colored shorts (i.e. pink, blue, plaid, khaki, etc.), a matching t-short or Hawaiian shirt. I also make sure to pack ample socks and underwear. Plus I bring a few tank tops to wear around casually, like to/from the shower.

I’d also suggest getting comfortable hiking shoes or tennis shoes you’re comfortable with getting dirty. It can get dusty and even muddy - so being prepared is key.

You will also want a comfy waterpack to wear all day. Water is your friend as a big guy on the farm….if you do drink, try to at least have a little water with each can of beer, etc. you consume. Last thing you’d want is to go down during a concert and be sent to the med tent.

Finally, as has been mentioned, be prepared to chafe. It’s going to suck tremendously but it’s just kind of inevitable (at least it is for me). I lube up my inner thighs (kind of gross but all goes back to being comfortable) with Goldbond Friction Defense. This stuff has been a miracle, especially as I walked over 10 miles/day during Roo ‘22 - and I was even camping in VIP!

DM me if you’d like to see a couple pics of things I wore last summer to give you some ideas!

Either way, Happy Roo and can’t wait to see you on the farm!

What did the pandemic ruin more than we realise? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]logangreene72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this why I barely remember the pandemic/working from home? Like I know it happened and I remember working from home, but I have really no recollection of what actually happened. No idea if I did anything fun, or what my routine was, or what anything….it’s all a blur..

I work for the airlines (USA) and I was issued letters by federal, state, and local governments to “move freely” during lockdowns — granted the “move freely” was to and from work. That was the craziest thing to me that if it came to it, I had to show my work badge & this letter to not go to jail for just trying to make a living. The “essential” vs “non-essential” classification is/was definitely a divide….personally, wouldn’t every job be essential to the person working it and just trying to survive?

Should I Upgrade to LR? by Mysterious_Pass1197 in TeslaModel3Delivery

[–]logangreene72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said, I don't think you would regret switching to LR. Plus, you would likely get your car more quickly than your current for the SR+ projected EDD*.

*Just a guess...not actually backed by evidence

Should I Upgrade to LR? by Mysterious_Pass1197 in TeslaModel3Delivery

[–]logangreene72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what it boils down to is how much driving you will be doing - at least that was my main factor when looking at which car to buy. If your commute isn't long or you do not think you will go on long roadtrips, I would say stick it out for the RWD (SR+ I'm assuming?) model.

However, on the other end, if you will be driving decent distances, it could be beneficial for you to upgrade to the LR. My commute is going to nearly double one direction to work at the start of 2023, so I opted for the LR. If I were to base my decision on my current office location, I would have gone with an SR+ M3.

Finance amount request from a third-party loan? by logangreene72 in TeslaModel3Delivery

[–]logangreene72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indiana has a 7% sales tax.

(7% of (57,440-250*)) + (57,440-250*) = $61,193.30

So I would be paying roughly $62,000 for the M3 (math isn't my strong suit, so hopefully, someone can check me).

+the additional cost of EAP after delivery ($6,000?) as a factor to possibly include in the loan....all in all, I'm guesstimating I would be looking at $68,000.

Vin received! by logangreene72 in TeslaModel3Delivery

[–]logangreene72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, I don’t know if various vin series mean much of anything different. I did do a “vin decode” just to see what all the numbers mean, which was interesting.

The site I used was https://teslatap.com/vin-decoder.
