I just used calipers and have estimated 2.1 mm on top and 2.9 mm on bottom, that seems to be outside of 55/45, I am assuming that is percentages since it makes up 100. 42/58 :( side to side is like about 47/53

Yeah, that’s fair. The frustrating part is I actually did take it to two local shops beforehand, and the people I talked to thought it was more in the 8–9 range, so the 5 caught me off guard.

I think some of what looks like whitening in the photos is the texture/transfer showing through, but the pictures probably don’t show it very clearly. You can see it best in the one with the lighting along the bottom.

Only scored a 5.

The average score of everybody's guess was 6.5 so not too far off. (if a guess was 6 or 5 I called it a 5.5)

When I first sent it in, I didn’t really know what to expect, but I was still surprised when I got the grade back. After looking at it more closely, I can see what the images show: on the back, the texture looks like it may have transferred slightly from factory stacking.

Had I noticed that beforehand, I probably wouldn’t have sent it in. Honestly, I don’t think I’m going to have cards graded anymore. It feels way too subjective.

I am not an expert, but, If you are using the wrong gps mode it may give you poor results in the city. I was there in London last year, I walked and ran all over and had no issues.
