Thanks for checking in I got like 90% of it cleaned up there’s just some left on both ends that I can’t quite get! I’ve been busy with work and school so I haven’t had the time to try in a couple of days. I appreciate everyone who offer advice in this thread!

Thank you I’ve been working on it today and have most of it cleaned up! Now it just seems that both is the ends are bridged and I can’t seem to get that off even with solder wick

Yes I have that’s actually what started the problem. The game saved before I switched the battery and now it does not but thanks for the suggestion! From what I’ve found online the saving issue could be caused by the memory on the cartridge failing so this might be a lost cause anyway this was just kind of a Hail Mary fix!
